My wife and I purchased a 2026 Honda HR-V Sport from Schomp Honda on September 19, 2025. We’ve been loyal Honda customers for over 15 years and have purchased several vehicles from Schomp during that ti Schomp Honda on September 19, 2025. We’ve been loyal Honda customers for over 15 years and have purchased several vehicles from Schomp during that time. We’ve always appreciated the Honda product and expected the same high level of service we’ve previously experienced. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. We did not receive any of our purchase paperwork at delivery and had to request it by email. On October 16, we contacted Schomp to check the status of our title and registration paperwork. Jonathan told us that it would be sent that day. However, on October 22, we learned from the title representative for both Honda and Hyundai that the paperwork hadn’t actually been sent until October 22. When we followed up with Douglas County DMV, they confirmed that no paperwork had been received. Later, Jonathan stated that the paperwork was “returned due to the wrong form,” but the DMV clarified this was not true — the form had never been sent. The DMV also noted they were only 2–3 days behind in processing dealer paperwork. We finally received our plates and registration on November 7, nearly seven weeks after we made the purchase. In addition, Schomp Honda’s slogan — “One Price, One Person, One Hour” — didn’t reflect our previous or current experiences. Despite paying cash, with no financing or upsells, and being one of only two customers in the showroom, the process still took nearly three hours. We continue to value Honda vehicles, but this experience raised concerns about Schomp Honda’s internal communication, paperwork management, and consistency with its advertised promises. We hope management reviews these practices so future customers — regardless of how they pay — receive the professional and timely service expected from the Honda brand. More

I bought my 2016 at Shomp several years ago. I haven’t had any huge issues except all of a sudden I started having an ABS malfunction and my break light, ABS light, Traction control light, and p I haven’t had any huge issues except all of a sudden I started having an ABS malfunction and my break light, ABS light, Traction control light, and power steering light were all hopping on and off. I was told by breaks plus that the ONLY PLACE that could take care of this problem was Shomp/the dealership. So the next time I had a problem (it just so happened to be my radiator) I took it to Shomp because I was under the impression they were the only people who could fix it. They send me a nice video after they did the diagnosis, they quoted me around $5100 to do what they said needed to be done. Now I am a single 28 year old Female and I live with my mom who is also a single female. We can only HOPE that people are not trying to screw us over. We decided to go ahead and invest the $5100 to get the car fixed. Or so we thought. My mom had to help me finance this, so when it was “done” she paid with her card, and she said goodbye to me, they pulled my car up and then when I was alone with the guy looking at my car that they already did work on he said, “oh and by the way, that other problem you told us about, the ABS problem? You’re going to have to bring it in again and pay for another diagnostic test for us to fix that. More
