Schomp BMW - Employees and Service I have always had a great experience servicing my BMW at Schomp. I recently had work done on my X5 and, once again, was not disappointed. I especially appreciate the professionalism and responsiveness of Jenna Malone who went above and beyond to address my requests and explain the service, timing, etc. She is very good at her job and always focused on customer service. Keep up the good work Jenna and BMW. More
Service department totaled our car Just a warning so no one else has to live this nightmare . . . my husband had his mint condition 550 in for regular maintenance and after a week was c Just a warning so no one else has to live this nightmare . . . my husband had his mint condition 550 in for regular maintenance and after a week was called by the service manager to inform him that there had been an "incident." The mechanic had our vehicle out for a QA drive on 470 and caught it on fire . . . completely engulfed in flames and totaled! We weren't even met with a formal apology. After two months of crossing our fingers for a reasonable resolution from what we thought was a reputable and professional company, Schomp BMW is doing nothing to help get us in another vehicle. While pages of unprofessionalism could be documented and we should've, in the end, hired an attorney, we are not the type of people to do that. We are very reasonable people and didn't expect them to hand us a new replacement, but they didn't even offer to help find a similar vehicle to ours. We've have had to file a claim with our own insurance and have still not been given a reason for the fire by the service department. The agony of the ordeal has been unbelievable and created so much stress for us! It started bad and ended bad and we truly hope that this review will prevent this from happening to someone else. Poor attitude, service and costs Took my car in for a new battery. Service tech that met me was complaining that a fellow worker did not show up so he had to take care of me. I asked to be sure all fluids were topped off and his comment was "we do not do that for just a battery change". What's ironic is the manager checked me out and said of course we always top off. They did not fill windshield wiper so obviously they do not. Well I just went in to get a battery changed. I get the call that I have a oil leak, of course contained under car and between that and a recalibration I was hit with an extra $1,300. Picked up my car, drove one mile and service light came on. It ended up only being a "hose not connected" but went thru getting another loaner car, driving home then having to drive right back. I will not take either of my BMW's back to this dealership!! More
Horrible service!! I had a recall on my BMW - I brought it in and they said they could not fix it for me I ask them when they would be able to and they said they weren't I had a recall on my BMW - I brought it in and they said they could not fix it for me I ask them when they would be able to and they said they weren't for sure, they'd get back to me about it, I never heard from them. Then after paying them for what I thought they fixed on my vehicle, the heater needed to be fixed because it would only be very hot or cold, nothing in between to make it warm, that's when they told me that's the way the heater ran I argued with them saying no I did not buy it this way. I asked him to please check it again to make sure that the heater was working they told me in a very snotty way that they were busy and had other customers to tend to. More

Normal service Made an appointment for routine maintenance and scheduled a loaner. When I arrived I was told they were out of loaners because people were not returni Made an appointment for routine maintenance and scheduled a loaner. When I arrived I was told they were out of loaners because people were not returning them. They began the service right away but also informed me in less than 5 minutes that there was a loaner that just came back. In no time they gassed and cleaned it and I was gone. They could easily have just finished the service while I waited. They keep their promises. More
Service Advisor was subpar and they scratched my car I have brought my car to Schomp for every service since 2013 and this will be the last time unless I have a recall. The service advisor did not call me to tell me they had to order the part for the 40 minute job. I called 3 times before a service manager advised me of the the status. The next morning, my service advisor called my home at 6:10 am to give me an update. She called again at 2 to tell me it would be done before I got out of work. I ultimately got my car back that night. When I got home, I inspected my car to find they scratched my front bumper through the paint (they aren't huge scratches, but they are the biggest ones on my car) and dinged my wheel well through the paint. I am so mad that I haven’t brought myself to call them to complain, but I took pictures with a date stamp to deal with Schomp sometime this week. Needless to say, I am very disappointed and eventually when I trade out my car, it won’t be for another BMW. Update #1: Ariel Metekengi, BMW Service Manager, called me to apologize for this visit as well as others I had in the past. He offered to not only fix the scratches written about above, but also fix any others on my vehicle. I dropped it off yesterday (11/10/17) morning and we will see how my car comes back. I was more than a little apprehensive about leaving my X3 with them again, but I will give Schomp BMW one last try. Update #2: After 3 business days, I got my car back last night (11/14/17). They parked it in the dark which made it nearly impossible to inspect (thank you iPhone flashlight). I immediately noticed that they did NOT fix the extra scratches that the service manager said would be fixed. I walked around the car and found that they did fix the damage from the original visit. I waited until this afternoon to inspect it completely. The repair looks very nice. There are a couple scratched on the edges of the upper panel and wheel well, but I can fix that. All in all, at least Schomp fixed what they damaged, but they didn't keep to their word. I will not be going back unless absolutely necessary. More
