From beginning to end everyone was helpful and informative. We pulled up and both took that sigh we all know we do when we have to deal with car "looking" or shopping. We were greeted by Eddie and immediately he just listened to us gripe, talk, and look for answers within our statements of our "life" facts. He smiled and began to explain our options without any sense of pressure. We certainly were not looking to be driving home that very day in a new minivan! We soon met Patrick and discussed our options even further. Patrick was upfront and honest with us. Minutes later we were smiling from ear to ear while transferring our "stuff" from our SUV to our NEW VAN! We are beyond grateful for everyone's help and patience with us while we weighed all of our options. We were given our own room to discuss and talk between ourselves without any pressure (this was huge in my book)! We appreciate everyone at Schoepp Motors and certainly plan on doing more business with them in the future. More

By the time we dropped our kids off at the sitter and got to Madison it was 10. We took our test drive and loved the truck so we put in our application for financing. So to put this into perspective, I have terrible credit from when I lived out of state, loss of jobs etc. That's why I moved to WI where the economy w So to put this into perspective, I have terrible credit from when I lived out of state, loss of jobs etc. That's why I moved to WI where the economy was booming. I had no previous car payment history because the last car was in my parents name for years and couldn't get it in mine because the bank it was through were terrible. I had a Saturn that was about 304K miles and nothing was really wrong with it but when/if something did it would probably just kill the entire car. I went in with no hopes of getting anything even though I had a "decent" down payment and was going to trade in my car. Mike came outside and told me to come in to look at what they had in stock on the computer instead of walking around in the irritating wind. Let's get something straight about this guy, why you want to deal with him and not others. He isn't pushy. At all. He's super chill and doesn't treat you like a bag of money. I told him my limit and he stuck to it (for the most part, more on that later). We kinda settled on a Chevy Cruze LT, and that started the talking to banks and I also went to Dane County Credit Union. Everyone denied me. His exact words were "I don't put up a white flag until it's 100% over". He kept in touch with me through text messages (I okay'd this since I don't like talking on the phone) and when I pretty much gave up, he was still fighting. Started Sunday, he text me Tuesday to bring in my W2 from last year, paycheck stubs, and some other stuff and I'd have a shot in the dark. Mike and his manager managed to get me a loan, but not for the Cruze, bank didn't like the miles/age on it. He seemed a little worried I wouldn't approve but then said "we were able to get you approved for a Ford Fusion SEL". I flipped out because I've ALWAYS loved the Fusions, they were just out of my price range and they're great cars. They're everywhere for a reason. They gave me the 500 I wanted for the Saturn, let me test drive the car alone, were not pushy by any means and the sheer amount of time they put into trying to get me a loan when everyone else denied me without even trying to work with me, I can see why they have the rep they do. I may have bad credit but that doesn't mean I don't pay my bills. So thanks to Mike and his boss, I'm in a 2012 Ford Fusion with a gorgeous metallic grey paint job. When you look at the prices on their cars, they're almost identical to what they're worth Blue Book. There's a reason they don't need to advertise, they have plenty word of mouth. Unlike that sinkhole Mad City Auto Sales who has to play irritating commercials 3 times in an hour to try and get a sale. More

He busted his xxx to prioritize my future new car through the long line of vehicles going through mechanical workup and reconditioning. Being located a couple of states away from the state of Wisconsin - it is a pleasure to deal with a dealership and a sales employee that believes in full disclosure of all of the problems a vehicle might have - then really does follow through! He took the time to do a visual walk around inspection of the car while I was on the phone, listing cosmetic issues as he went. The next day, I received a call from him with the full details of the mechanical workup - once home, my mechanic confirmed exactly what was described - to a T! You always hear the bad stories about used car dealers - so much so that they're ingrained into pop culture. I can tell you that this isn't how anyone at Schoepp Motors does business. From start to finish I was treated right, with honesty and straight forward no B.S. discussion. There were no bait and switch tactics, no strong arm negotiating, and no negative after-signing "oh and by the way..." issues. They knew what was wrong with the vehicle, informed me, and I walked into the deal with full awareness of what to expect - not today, not tomorrow - but six months to a year down the road. I walked out with my new car - completely satisfied. I hope that all of my future car purchases could be such a pleasant and streamlined experience. Surprised me! I went in to just "look" at vehicles with an idea in my head of what I wanted. I had purchased from Schoepp over 10 years ago and had a not so great e I went in to just "look" at vehicles with an idea in my head of what I wanted. I had purchased from Schoepp over 10 years ago and had a not so great experience so I was unsure. Mike met my daughter and I outside and took us in where it wasn't so brisk. Gold Star right off the bat. He pulled up the computer, asked me what I had in mind, price range, car, etc. I told him all. He immediately had three vehicles in mind. I went with the one he highly recommended and he was sure he could get it to my approved loan amount and that it was the better deal for my needs. He was right! It may not have all the bells and whistles, but I really like the mini-van and have to say he was WONDERFUL! Words cannot express my appreciation for how helpful Mike was.
