Thank you for your feedback about your recent service experience. I'm sorry to hear you are dissatisfied and would like to help explain the MO safety inspection requirements that all inspectors and inspection locations are to follow. The safety inspection is a visual inspection with specific criteria for what determines if components pass or fail. It is required for the technician to note the items that fail on the inspection report so that they can be reinspected before the vehicle can be passed. A free reinspection is offered at the location where it was performed with 20 days. if your vehicle has parts that have failed, the results would be the same at any location that performs the inspection. The diagnosis fee that you have been quoted would be for determining cause and repairs needed beyond a visual inspection. I would be happy to assist with any further clarification you may need as well as repairing the vehicle if you so choose.
