What kind of threw me was that even though I had provided two phone numbers for the dealer to contact me in case of some additional thing coming up in the repair/service, neither phone number was called, but instead, the 3rd number was called instead (the person who dropped off the vehicle), he was unable to respond (at work), so the vehicle/work sat there all day (and because of the delay in contact, sat there in the repair area all week. Might want to ensure that contact phone numbers are viable (that is, someone is going to respond). I was waiting for the contact from Ford service all day until I got tired of waiting and called around 3:30 p.m., only to discover that they (Ford service) was waiting for authorization to proceed. More

wont resolve issue or attempt to resolve issue I am writing this to resolve an issue regarding my 2016 FORD F-250 vehicle that we purchased and that is still within the 60,000 mile powertrain warra I am writing this to resolve an issue regarding my 2016 FORD F-250 vehicle that we purchased and that is still within the 60,000 mile powertrain warranty. I brought my vehicle to Shicker Ford located at 3300 S. Kingshighway, Saint Louis, Missouri 63139 on 8/23/2019 for an oil change (The Works Package was chosen for the service option) and to have the key lock repaired on the drivers side door. I picked up my vehicle on 9/12/2019. On 9/15/2019 my truck would not go into drive. I found this very strange considering the truck had been recently serviced. I had the truck towed (first time) to Dave Sinclair Ford located at 7466 S. Lindbergh Blvd, Saint Louis, Missouri 63125 (they have been nothing but helpful). After inspecting the vehicle, they asked me "was this vehicle serviced anywhere recently?" I then informed them that it indeed has been serviced recently. They explained to me that the vehicle had zero transmission fluid in it. They then checked for leaks and double checked the drain plug. It showed no signs of any leaks and the drain plug was finger tight. On 9/25/2019, I had the vehicle towed (2nd time) back to Shicker under the impression that they would repair this problem, especially since they were the last ones to service the vehicle before my transmission failed. To my dismay, Shicker refused to do any work without me signing a work order, which binded me to be financially responsible for the repair. So then on 9/26/2019, I again had the vehicle towed (3rd time) from Shicker to a secure lot to wait on a pending case or investigation. Please keep in mind when we purchased this truck in 2018 from Enterprise Car Sales it performs its own multi-point inspection to make sure the vehicle is in working order before selling it. Transmission oil was fine at that time and if memory serves me correctly you wont burn through almost two gallons of transmission fluid in 10,000 miles probably not even 100,000 miles. More

Great experience Had an issue with a truck tire late Friday. Called Alec to see if anything could be done to fix it. He arranged for service appointment on Saturday. Had an issue with a truck tire late Friday. Called Alec to see if anything could be done to fix it. He arranged for service appointment on Saturday. The truck needed to stay for the issue to be resolved. Transportation was provided until repair completed. Very pleased with how the situation was handled. Purchase of a new car was overall a good experience. My experience at Schicker Ford was an okay process. I was looking for a Fiesta and found 2 at this dealership. However, after browsing on the Interne My experience at Schicker Ford was an okay process. I was looking for a Fiesta and found 2 at this dealership. However, after browsing on the Internet, I found a Fiesta that I liked the looks of and Alec, my salesman, was able to have the car transferred to Schicker. I ended up purchasing that Fiesta. The only complaint that I had was I arrived at the dealership to sign the papers and pick up the car at about 10:30 a.m. and the process wasn't started until 11;15 a.m. I feel that was poor business practice. However, I would recommend the dealership because of the salesman's help. More
