If I could give the service department 0 stars I would. I could not strongly discourage you from using a service department more! I purchased a preowned Q Certified Ford Focus from them. It supposedly I could not strongly discourage you from using a service department more! I purchased a preowned Q Certified Ford Focus from them. It supposedly went through extensive inspections prior to my purchase. The first day as we drove it off the lot the headlight was out. We took it back the next day and they replaced the bulb. The first week, it wouldn't start and stranded my 16 year old in St. Charles. We replaced the battery at $250 but I figured it's part of having a preowned vehicle (even though it went through extensive inspections). A few weeks later the headlight went out again, followed by the car not starting and leaving my 16 year old stranded again. Since it was the weekend and we now felt like we had been scammed we had it towed to the local mechanic. When they started checking the vehicle out they called and said "where did you buy this car?!" They were shocked that it came from a "reputable" dealer. They provided 6 pages of things that were wrong with the vehicle and included photos, which included wiring issues for the headlight. We gave them to OK to do the repair that would get the car back on the road and said we would take the rest up with Schicker. I immediately started calling and emailing Schicker and getting no response. After 2 days of no return calls or emails I went there which finally got their attention. I told Ado (the preowned sales manager the whole story) and he promised to take care of it and even said that he believed I should be refunded for the repair at the mechanic and the battery that we replaced. He discussed with the service department and scheduled me to bring the car in the next week. I dropped the car off on 10/31 and was given a car to drive. I was promised a call the next day with an update. No calls for over a week and only after I asked for updates that took 2 days to get. I was finally told on Wednesday that the car was ready (after having it for 8 days) and that they would only reimburse me 50% of the repair bill from the other mechanic. I went to pick up the car and the repair order only stated that they checked for a coolant leak and tightened the headlight. When I asked about the headlight being out I was told "yes they fixed it". We went outside for me to leave and the headlight was NOT fixed. After some back and forth between Ado and the service department I was told the bulb was left on the toolbox and he would be right back with the car. He returned without the car because it was a wire issue not a bulb issue WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT THE REPORT FROM THE OTHER MECHANIC STATED! I had to leave the car for 3 more days. When it was finally ready I sent Ado an email telling him that I believe I should be reimbursed the full amount for the mechanic bill as the issue with the headlight is exactly why I took the car for a different opinion. I got no response other than the check is going out today. When the check arrived today it if for 50% of the repair bill. I paid good money for a car that was promised to have gone through extensive inspections, had my son stranded twice, put nearly $1,000 in repairs into the car and had to make several trips to the dealer and all they offered me was $320. I definitely won't return to that service department with this car and won't be purchasing anymore vehicles here either. I think overall their sales department is OK but the service department and customer service is TERRIBLE. Don't trust them with your car! More
Ordered wrong truck ( wrong bed length) then when the second one came in it was missing options . Ended up ordering and installing myself . It only took a couple minutes to drop my car off. They called me a couple hours later when it was done.when I got there to pick it up everything was ready and I was in and out in minutes. Had a vehicle break down close to these guys. They got me in right away, checked it out out,and had it fixed in an hour. Was expensive, but cheaper than getting a wrecker.
