When I went back, I was ready to buy having done my homework in advance. No wheeling and dealing. No hassle. I had the car I wanted in the color I wanted at a fair price. Rude!!!! Stopped at this dealer around 8:30pm June 13th. Salesman's name was Demetar. He was overly rude and not interested in making any deal, I think because Stopped at this dealer around 8:30pm June 13th. Salesman's name was Demetar. He was overly rude and not interested in making any deal, I think because it was close to closing time of 9pm. He kept talking over us and getting up in mid sentence to walk away. He offered us 15k for a trade worth 19k. In absolutely poor condition our trade was valued at $15500 trade-in value on Kelly blue book. Our trade is in excellent condition, but Demetar wouldn't know this because he never even went out and physically looked at the car. He didn't know it was leather, had a moon roof or 20" wheels. He wasn't interested in taking a Cadillac in on trade to a Honda dealership. He gave us a low ball auction price, but then continued to tell us there is no way we will ever make a deal with $9000 of negative equity. We don't have 9k negative unless you steal 4k from our trade. Even if we did, 9k can be rolled into a deal. Dealerships do it every day. Demetar was playing the game of making the customer feel like crap so you can sell them a bad deal. The guy was every bad stereotype of a car salesman. I knew exactly what he was doing when he devalued our trade to setup the sale. I was taught to do the exact same thing. I sold cars for a few years when I was 18-19 and left the industry for a variety of reasons, but mostly because of horrible human beings like Demetar. All he does is wait for "baby seals" to walk through the door all day so he can club them over the head. Snakey salesman are the worst! STAY AWAY! STAY FAR AWAY! More
