I have brought my 2014 Honda Odyssey to the Lake St. Honda dealer ever since I have had my van. I first tried Christian Brothers Auto Repair Shop because my gas pedal would hesitate when I would press o Honda dealer ever since I have had my van. I first tried Christian Brothers Auto Repair Shop because my gas pedal would hesitate when I would press on it from a complete stop. It started to get worse, so I first brought it to C.B. The told me I would need a rebuilt or new transmission which would of cost me $4,500 and up not including labor. I decided that I would get a second opinion and they were not happy with my decision I could tell. My gut was telling me something was wrong just off. I went to the Honda dealership and told them about the hesitancy with acceleration. At this time my van has been sitting for about 5 months in our driveway and was now not starting either. I had it towed to the Honda dealership, and I was hoping it would not need a new or rebuilt transmission and they would be honest with me. It turned out that the transmission fluid had to be flushed out three times and then new fluid added. It has no hesitancy and is smooth driving again! My van did need other repairs, but I do feel I was not being taken advantage of and they gave me as many discounts as they could for my repairs. To have a feeling of respect and honesty with an auto repair shop now a days is rare and especially at a dealership shop. Unfortunately, that seems to be the world we live in. I am from now on going to bring my van to the Honda dealership on Lake St. I was not pressured, and they went over everything that was priority to the least on repairs with total cost no pressure.
