I recently went to Schaumburg Ford and picked out a great first car thanks to the sales associate, Ron Keller, who helped me out. We went into the Bob Rohrman Ford to look at a couple of used Ford Edges. I had called the night before and gotten some information from Dave and said I would come in the following day. Dave gave me Juan's name, since he said it was his day off. Juan was very nice - he had the vehicle ready for us to test drive in no time. He answered all of our questions we had about the vehicle. In the end, it was a toss up between the used one we test drove and just getting a new one. This is where the manager stepped in - Paul (Bochenek?). He asked us what was the offer we got at the other dealership we went to, and suggested that we buy the new car from him instead. He said that he can probably make us a better offer. And he did. We have been shopping around for a car for almost a month at this point and have visited 4 different dealership. This one was the best experience of all of them. Paul was very nice, never pushy, and just gave us an offer we couldn't resist. They made the whole process very smooth and made sure they didn't waste any of our time. We filled out the paperwork and were told that we'd get a call when the car was ready (the car we wanted was not actually at this dealership). We went back the same night to pick up the new car. Sam from financing was great. He showed us exactly what our options were. Both Juan and Sam tried to sell us protection plans (not the same one), and we decided to go with the road assistance/dent/key replacement package that Sam was offering. Once again, neither Sam or Juan were pushy in selling the product, but focused more on presenting the benefits and the great value of each product. We went with "Sam's" product because we really wanted the dent repair option. Overall, I would give this dealership 5/5 stars. The whole shopping experience was great - the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful without being in your face and trying to sell you a car no matter what. In the end they gave us the best price for the vehicle we wanted and also included 2 years of free maintenance. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who's looking for a Ford, whether it's new or used. More

I went to many dealerships in the woodfield area and aparently it was a complicated process to trade my car in, I got the vibe that I was being taken adavatage of since my knowledge of cars was clearly sub par. Ford was different they made it seem simple throughout all the steps. I would have saved my self alot of time if I just went to Ford in the first place. Ron the salesman I worked with showed me all the possible ways I could save money; tax savings on my trade in, rebates, and in store discounts. I left the dealership with a smile and was very happy with my experience. More
We had been out looking for a new company vehicle and finally ended up at this ford dealership. Ron Keller approached us and helped us all the way through the process. Not that there was anything wrong, just seems to be a greater focus on the customer. The staff in sales and service are always friendly and make you feel like your business is important to them. Even when I bring my cars in for service, for example like today, and walk through the showroom to kill some time, employees such as Nick Magdalin recognize my face and ask me how I am doing. I called the dealership after viewing a listing for a used minivan that was at this dealership. I called and spoke to Castro and asked if this vehicle was available. He called me back within a half an hour or so, and said yes, the minivan was there as described and listed. I then said i wanted to see it, and perhaps take it home right away if it looked as good as the pictures on the post. He assured me he would do "whatever it took to get the price where i needed it to be". i arrived about 1/2 hour later. I asked for Castro, and he came out right away and showed me to the van. I was horrified!! It looked NOTHING like the pictures that were posted for the listing on this minivan! I asked if perhaps this was the wrong one. He told me...No, it just needs to be cleaned up a bit. There were big holes in the carpeting in front of the drivers seat that were definitely NOT in the post!! The posting listed the mileage at 74,000 miles, while this van in front of me had 150,000!!?? I walked away and said I was not going to put up with that kind of typical bait and switch tactic. I was ready to leave but decided to go in and complain about what just occurred. I walked in and explained what had just happened and was extremely put off by their "typical car salesmen' tactics. It was 2-3 thousand more than the original price of the van i was looking at. I showed him the posting of what vehicle I came in to see, he blamed it on the advertising department getting the information wrong. So the sales manager brought me out to look at a similar car, and Uplander. This vehicle was now another 2-3 thousand more than the car I came in for. I was fed up and it just renewed by original thoughts about Car Salesmen...Typical liars, tell you what you want to hear, but clearly not what is right in front of you. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!! They use the typical BAIT AND SWITCH and try to steer you into something other than what they lured you in for. Had I read the reviews before i went in to look, then i would have stayed FAR AWAY...Better honest dealership is Infinity of Clarendon Hills!! I didnt end up buying from them, but they told me what they had upfront so i didnt waste my time. More
Beware of smiling faces while they separate you from your hard earned cash, they tell you how they want you to be postively happy. The deal took sooooo long I didnt think to check the cruise, was more worried about the way the truck ran and listening for noises during the test drive. On the way home I learned there was no cruise when I tried to turn it on. 2 days later I stopped back at Rohrmanns told the manager about no cruise and his exact words were We have a disclaimer on the sticker. Now they happened to leave the sticker in the truck and I read it beforehand its a disclaimer is for Kelly Blue Book saying they are not responsible for info put in not a disclaimer for Rohrmanns. When I mentioned this the manager he shrugged his shoulders as if to say tough luck and didnt say anything. I said I guess im stuck without cruise, to which his reply was nothing. I said I guess false advertising is ok here. He once again said nothing and I left before I got pissed. ALSO BEWARE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, they did a credit check on me without asking and I didnt ask for or want credit. The salesman asked for my number I said why he said since 9/11 the government asks that all sales are accompanied with it. I then said so there will be no check and he said no, I wouldnt have given it if I knew they were going to do that. If the manager offered to buy the truck back I wouldve got another one from them even if it wouldve been a bit more money, but he offered nothing, just said WE HAVE A DISCLAIMER. So now im looking for another truck and have to go through the whole ordeal again, but I will not tolerate B.S. kindness from salespeople nor will I ever buy from Rohrman again. Also they gave me far from what Kellys Blue Book said my trade was worth. If you believe your trade is worth a certain value dont let any dealer pick it apart because remember they are not your friends and only trying to squeeze every last dollar out of you thats there job. In order to expedite the process for me, they replaced their order with my specific order to effectively let me "jump in line". Any time I wanted to get an update on the status of the build, they were more than happy to do make the calls and do the research. I received a call 3.5 months later letting me know that my truck had arrived. What a great surprise! The pick up and paperwork process was extremely smooth and easy, as everyone else involved was extremely helpful and friendly. The bottom line is that I love my new truck, and I cannot say enough about everyone at Rohrman Schaumburg Ford. They truly made the experience great. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a Ford vehicle. More
