I purchased a new 2012 Acura TL and had the most pleasent experiance with Bob. He was knowleadgeable and great to work with. He meet all of my needs. Was looking for a lightly used TSX Wagon. Several dealerships in New England had one of these, but none near me. Because of this, going through the standard and infuriating multiple-visits-to-the-dea dealerships in New England had one of these, but none near me. Because of this, going through the standard and infuriating multiple-visits-to-the-dealer-to-wear-them-down-to-the-terms-they-already-had-in-mind-the-first-time-you-came-in was not going to be an option for me. Joe Sanchez, Brian Savo, and Brian Shepard at Schaller immediately understood this and were willing to talk hard numbers via email from the start. xxxxxxto them for waking up and smelling the internet. Other dealers closer to me, take note: You lost a sale. As we worked through the sale, I received multiple unprompted calls from business manager Brian Savo, wanting to make sure we both had all our "i"s dotted and our "t"s crossed on the paperwork, so I wouldn't waste a trip from three states away. This was very reassuring. When I went to pick up the car, it had been beautifully detailed and everything was exactly as advertised. Joe took a lot of time to run through everything to demonstrate that it all worked. Only caveat for future Acura buyers is that the navigation system turns out to be pretty lame compared with - for example - a mass-market Garmin unit you can buy in a big box store for $150. This is not a failure of the dealership, but is pretty disappointing considering Acura's reputation and what you pay for the tech package. I should have done my homework better on that one, as I see in retrospect, thanks to Google, that lots of people have this complaint. This minor quibble should not distract from my praise for Schaller's service level, which was excellent. All in all a very smooth transaction. Highly recommended. Would definitely do business with them again. More
