Called the dealership on a Thursday to see if a vehicle was still available, and if I could set up an appointment to see it first thing Saturday morning. After contacting Schaefer they agreed to check out the truck at no cost to me. Cool. So I did my part and changed the thermostat so they wouldn't have to and got the overheating fairly manageable. Next day i check the transmission fluid and its considerably low and the Truck reeks of antifreeze. Yesterday the Truck goes into Limp mode and is stuck in 4th gear. I dont know what's going on or what to do as the truck doesn't even seem safe to drive back to Pinconning. Mind you I've had this truck for less than two weeks. Waiting to see what Schaefer has to say about these issues before increasing the rating on my review. It almost seems as if the truck was never inspected at all before it was sold to me. Second Edit 6-18-2022: Just got off with the rudest manager I've ever spoken to. Before I could even voice my complaints I was given attitude. Schaefer DROVE my truck to Richardson Dodge in Standish while the truck was in limp mode for transmission issues. Not only did they not tell me they were taking it to another dealership but I wasn't aware until I called on Thursday 6-16-2022 that it had already been taken there. While I was on the Phone with the manager of Schaefer I was informed that they Don't have to tell me when they drive my property to another dealership 10 miles away and that me paying $23,000 for a truck from them not even two weeks ago didn't matter anymore. Mind you I have texts from FOUR HOURS after receiving the vehicle when all these issues were starting. Needless to say I will NEVER recommend this dealership for service of any kind. And while the sales team, Joseph, to be specific was fantastic to work with I can't recommend anyone buying a used vehicle from this place. The complete lack of regard for a customer you just received twenty three thousand dollars from is outlandish. Thank you Joseph for selling me this truck and I'm sorry the rest of your team makes that place look bad. More

Now a year later, with car being driven less than 1000 miles, the car needed sensors replaced $700. Now the Variable Charge Motion Actuator needs replaced. Purchased a used vehicle from Schafer last week. Once I got home with the vehicle I noticed there was a fuel leak. Car lot was closed so I messaged them the next morning and asked if there was anything the got home with the vehicle I noticed there was a fuel leak. Car lot was closed so I messaged them the next morning and asked if there was anything they could do to address this issue. They did not respond back so I took it to get it fixed. Cost me $477 dollars to fix the issue that the car lot knew existed. After letting them know that I paid to get the issue fixed, so the vehicle I had for 12 hours didn’t catch fire, they told me I didn’t give them enough time to address the issue. More
