We always appreciate feedback, but we want to share the rest of the details with those who will read this review. The vehicle you purchased was a new car demonstrator unit with 4,490 miles on it. We provided a fantastic deal on this unit because it has some miles and some minor wear on it. For this very reason, people looking for a great deal can enjoy a like-new car, take advantage of the new car rates and loyalty programs, all while saving thousands of dollars. Being upfront with the issue at purchase, we were willing to touch up the spot or repaint the hood at our Acura Certified repair shop. We are not willing to place a Warranty/Diamond Ceramic coat on the vehicle. This request would be an enhancement to the vehicle, not a fix. This was never offered as a complementary option, but it was offered to you at closing to purchase for your vehicle. So, you elected to get nothing fixed, and decided to leave a poor review as a resolution. We are sorry we did not meet your expectations.

If we’re sharing the rest of the story details let’s talk. I am sure at delivery we could have walked away from the purchase when we discovered the paint flaw. We did not because we were assured by Scanlon that everything would be taken care of and trusted the dealership after many years of business. You can not convince me or anyone reading this that repainting a factory paint job is a good idea for a small paint flaw, what is reasonable is protecting the area that went though wet sanding with an ceramic coating. You’re words on the warranty/diamond ceramic coating and calling it an enhancement, I as a customer would call it “doing the right thing”. And I feel I should mention last month when asked to think about the decision and again assure everything would be resolved, we should have insisted it was resolved then but as the holidays were here and the dealership was busy we conceded to your request. Now here we are....folks does this sound like someone trying to “get something free” from the dealership, no just want it protected.
