Sayville Ford had my 2018 Expedition for 2 weeks to fix a check engine light problem. After I picked up my car after I was informed my vehicle was fixed I noticed driving home the check engine light is still check engine light problem. They never fixed my car after 2 weeks of paying for my monthly lease payment of $820.00 and also paying for a rental payment of $1200.00 2 week rental from Enterprise since they had no loaner car. Well I now call to bring the car back in and they tell me don’t drive the car with the check engine light on and the next available service date is 3 weeks from now. And no LOANER CAR again until December. What a JOKE!!!!!!!! Stay away for service. They make excuses they have no help or parts. Enough already. I am supposed pay FORD my monthly lease payment $820.00 and Enterprise Car Rental &1200.00 I More

After my previous experience with Sayville Ford Service Department, I was hesitant to give them a HORRIBLE!!! Why did I expect something different? After my previous experience with Sayville Ford Service Department, I was hesitant to give them another try but the Service Manager and General manager both called and explained the issue and asked if I would give them another chance. Today I TRIED and AGAIN THEY FAILED!!! My 2020 Ford Raptor was due for its 5000-mile service, basically an oil change and a tire rotation. My vehicle only has 4100 miles, but it is a year of driving so time for the oil change. The service manager had generously offered to include this service for free after our last “issue” and asked me to give them a second chance because they were just having an off day. I decided it was fair to give them another try so I used there process so that I could write an honest review of my experience, positive or negative. The experience was HORRIBLE AGAIN!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND SAYVILLE FORD, LOTS OF LIP SERVICE NO FOLLOW THROUGH!!!!!!! I made my service appointment the middle of last week on their website picking a time and day that was available. I chose Monday 9/13/2021 at 10:45 believing that it would be after the morning rush and before the lunch breaks. This would also give me he ability to make a fair assessment of the service department. I received three text messages from an automated system, “Thank you for scheduling”, “Appt Confirmation” and “Appt Reminder”. I felt that the communication was good and was the right amount. This morning I showed up 5 minutes early for my appointment and there were no cars waiting so I drove directly into the service bay. I was greeted and asked to wait for a service advisor, it was a reasonable wait for the advisor. She took some information about the vehicle and asked me to follow her into the office. I made sure to wear a mask and to be early for my appointment so that I would not cause any problems with my appointment. I clearly wrote and selected on the automated appointment that I would be waiting for my vehicle. After discussing the service and specifying that I wanted synthetic oil for my vehicle (she did not know if they used Mobil One), the advisor finished the paperwork and then advised me it would be OVER TWO HOURS wait, to change the oil!! I told them to bring back vehicle that it was unacceptable. Then the advisor stated making up stories about COVID, which was very disconcerting. TODAY MAGICALLY COVID IS CAUSING TWO HOUR OIL CHANGES!!!! Another 45 minutes of my life wasted trying to get something SIMPLE completed at this dealership. Here are the Major issues I have with the dealership and this visit: 1) YOU HAVE A WEBSITE WHERE I MADE THE APPOINTMENT, IT COULD EASILY SAY “WAIT TIMES EXCEED TWO HOURS” 2) THAT SAME WEBSITE BLOCKS OUT APPOINTMENT TIMES, IF YOU ARE SHORT STAFFED BLOCK OUT HALF OF THE TIMES SO THAT YOU CAN FINISH WORK IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME AND SATISFY YOUR CUSTOMERS. 3) YOU CAN SEND ME 3 TEXT MESSAGES ABOUT MY APPOINTMENT BUT YOU CAN’T SEND ONE “WARNING WAIT TIMES EXCEED TWO HOURS” 4) AS SOON AS A CUSTOMER PULLS IN YOU ASK, “WILL YOU BE WAITING?” THEN YOU CAN ADVISE THEM IT WILL BE IN EXCESS OF TWO HOURS.” 5) YOU HAVE MY PHONE NUBER, YOU KNOW I AM WAITING FOR MY VEHICLE……..CALL ME AND TELL ME “ITS OVER A TWO-HOUR WAIT, YOU MAY WANT TO DROP IT OFF OR RESCHEDULE” The complete lack of communication is the same issue that existed the last time I visited the Sayville Ford Service Department. Communication, Honesty and Clarity with your customers is the key and they FAIL EVERY TIME!! I cannot relate how disappointed I am in the Dealership as a whole, they asked me to give them a second chance and I tried, I really wanted it to be a great experience so that I could give them a great review. Something is terrible wrong with the management of this facility; the managers need to be on top of these issues and make changes. Give specific direction to your service employees to COMMUNICATE, let people know ahead of time, don’t make it a surprise! I recommend you take your business elsewhere. A Dealer or independent where they value your time and understand how to communicate! More
WORST service experience I have ever had. 2020 Transit Van. First time bringing it in. Brought it in for a check engine light, oil change, inspection and an electrical outlet that doesn’t work. Dropped it off on my appointment day at 7am….never heard from my service advisor, Diana until I called HER and she said they didn’t even touch the vehicle until the end of the day and then said they might have to order a part that will take another day. The next day Diana was off and I never got any information until I called and spoke to the receptionist. Then I got a text saying my vehicle was done when in fact it wasn’t. Good thing I called before I went to pick it up. Then it stayed for another whole day and NO ONE called me with any information. On the FOURTH day I called again and was told Diana wasn’t in her office so I asked the receptionist if she could find out the status of my vehicle for me and she said everything was done except for the electrical outlet because a part has to be ordered and they “don’t know when that part is coming in” so she told me to pick up the van and bring it back another time for the outlet! OUTRAGEOUS! How does a DEALERSHIP get away with such HORRIBLE customer service and incompetent communication?! More
I came in for warranty work. Part of the job was done poorly. I had to go through the inconvenience of four trips to the dealership to get the job done correctly when it should have taken only two. I asked to speak to the Service Manager three times. He was never available when I called and never returned my call. The dealership did make good and fixed the problem, however they showed little concern for the extra time and trouble it took to get them to do the job correctly. I would choose to look for a Ford dealership to take care of my service/repair needs that does a better job especially in the communication with the customer. Consequently, I wouldn't recommend Sayville Ford More
I brought my vehicle in for warranty work, they replaced completely the wrong part. My noise is still there. And they damaged my steering wheel, which they claim they did not do. I would like to share a few kind words about Kenya Augustin, and I feel it's the least I can do after all of her effort and outstanding assistance for me over the years. I have bought a couple of truc Augustin, and I feel it's the least I can do after all of her effort and outstanding assistance for me over the years. I have bought a couple of trucks from Sayville Ford and always use their service department for all of my routine maintenance and repair work. It has been wonderful to have gotten to know Kenya during this time, and whenever I have to bring one of the trucks in, I'm glad I can look forward to calling her directly to help arrange my visit and work out the details of my service. She is an incredibly helpful, warm, lovely and wonderful person to deal with. She is very considerate; when it comes to a gear head like myself I am very particular with my truck and she is always all ears, and very accommodating as far as any special requests I have for their shop. I can honestly say she is one of the main reasons it is such a pleasure and a totally enjoyable experience to keep coming back there, and people like her continue to make a loyal Sayville Ford customer out of me. The place would not be the same without her ! Keep up the good work. More

T SERVICE IS AWFUL!! I would give them Zero stars if I could, I brought in my Brand New Ford raptor for a Safety Inspection (bought it out of state). This is basically the lights, blinkers, horn and seat belts, Its cost is 10$. 12/15/20- I showed up to get the Safety Inspection and asked them, how long will this take, I was told 30 Minutes Max!! Two hours later I was still the only one sitting in the waiting room, when I finally saw the service writer and asked about my truck, he said "let me check" , turns out it was sitting in the parking lot, they had not touched it, he told me "they went on break at 2:00 and that was the issue. I arrived at 1:10 (+30 MAX) 1:40 thats well before 2:00 ??? Why should a break at 2:00 mattter. They have no interest in taking care of the service clients, find another dealer (for warranty work ) and local shop to do routine maintenance . I went to my local shop and had the Inspection done in and out 10 minutes! **** UPDATE- I received a call from the Service manager, and he apologized for the experience. The VP also reached out via Email to apologize. The follow up was greatly appreciated and I understand that people and businesses can have off day, but it does not change my experience. The Service manager explained some of the issues and agreed it was not acceptable and offered to make it up to me with my first oil change IF I decide to give them the business. More
