We apologize that the light came on, sometimes a vehicle may require a drive cycle than have the computer reset. We do drive the vehicle after a repair however, this could happen. *******Update , I recieved phone call's from the Service Manager Dimitri Kreatsoulas as well as the VP Cliff Korade. They were both vey apologetic and explained some of the issues they were facing at this time. I fully understandable and I do not blame them or the service department for issues wth staffing and lack of loaner vehicles because of the chip shortage. I explained that the problems stem from a lack of communication, I would have been more than happy to drop off my vehicle IF they had given me the heads up that the wait would be over two hours, I woud have accepted a ride home IF it was offered to me. The systems are in place to communicate with customers , it is time to use them!!! There are many solutions to this problem and I hope that they take my suggestions and implement them, it will make the service exerience much more positive for both the employees and the Customer. They made a very generous offer to come and get my vehicle and perform the service for free and then return the vehicle back to me. I would have accpted but the Truck it currently at my local mechanic having the service completed. I truly appreciate the attempt to address my problem but hope that it leads to an overall change in the communication, automated system, and general way of doing business in the service department. They have asked that I give them one more chance, at this point I am still unsure, time will tell.
