Incompantant staff Purchases a used 2011 f250. Told the salesperson that there was a whine from the transmission, amount some other problems with the truck. All the prob Purchases a used 2011 f250. Told the salesperson that there was a whine from the transmission, amount some other problems with the truck. All the problems were written down on the original contract. The truck was never detailed, I was told that the person that does the detailing went home sick and that when I bring it back to have the repairs made, it would get detailed. The front seatbelt is frayed and is a safety issue for the state inspection. Sayville ford says it is fine, yet takingjit to 3 other inspection shops, all three says it won't pass. Also with the transmission, it took a month to get it repaired correctly. Sayville ford cracked on of the side view mirror cases and told me they would replace it. After asking more then once when it will be replaced, I was told they would replace it with an after market n mirror. All the repairs glad to go through the used car manager, who changes his story every time you talk to him. Everyone passes the buck. The only helpful person was Fran from the service department, the rest are all incompetent. I will never go back to purchase another vehicle from then nor recommend them to anyone. More

A good experience with friendly, knowledgeable people. Robert Tarnowski was friendly and knowledgeable. He listened to my requests and answered my questions. He explained differences in vehicles and the options available. When I picked up the vehicle, he spent almost an hour explaining the vehicle's operation. Since I am new to all the modern technology, he took the time to show me all the details. He offered to help me in the future if I needed it. Overall, I was very satisfied. Excellent Buying Experience I went to Sayville Ford today to just buy out my existing lease but was so impressed with the excellent and understanding service I received from Robe I went to Sayville Ford today to just buy out my existing lease but was so impressed with the excellent and understanding service I received from Robert Tarnowski, my husband and I left in a brand new Ford Escape. Robert was so understanding to our needs, both with the choice of vehicle and our financial situation, he made the entire experience affordable, painless and so much fun.
