Terrible Service Dept customer service We were visiting in Idaho Falls and decided to have the ok changed on our 2019 Grand Cherokee. We called and made an appointment for 4:00 and told it would be a 30 minute service. When we arrived at 3:40, we were greeted by Jeremy and he said they were running about 20 minutes behind. That was ok. He asked if we also wanted the car washed and we said yes. At 5:00 we were told it was done. We went out to our car it had not been washed but someone had turned on the front and rear washer/wipers. It was obvious, since we had driven from California and both were dirty. When we inquired as to the wash we were told it could be done right away. W wanted it done as now the washer fluid had run down the lift gate and it looked terrible. Plus we were told it would be done as part of the service. It took approx 30 minutes until we were able to leave. No apology or anything. On the other hand, while we were waiting, we went and looked at other Grand Cherokee models, and Travis came out and talked to us. He was very nice and knowledgeable of the different models. We enjoyed talking to him and he gave us a lot of good information. More

I googled Ram dealers and Ron Sayer’s in Idaho Falls came up, I called and talked with Stephan in the service department. He was so friendly and so helpful and accommodating. He scheduled an appointment and got me in and out very quickly. I want to thank the dealership, the mechanic and especially Stephan for making this a very pleasurable experience. More

Arriving in the Idaho Falls area I booked it in for an oil change and a safety recall. When I called to make the appointment I asked how long it would take and was told 2 hours. I arrived at 10.45 for an 11 am appointment. I confirmed with Sam when I arrived that it would take 2 hours and he confirmed. He was not very friendly and rather condescending and it seemed like I was rather an inconvenience to his day. I stood there for 15 minutes while he labored over his computer regarding my appointment. I also asked that they check out some tears to the headliner and find out if and how it could be replaced and whether or not it was under warranty. Two hours later, around 1pm I went out to ask if it was ready. I was told by Sam that it was not ready and would be at least another hour maybe two. No apologies, no concern that I had already waited two hours. When I asked why he said because his people had to take lunch and said "do you expect my technicians not to take lunch for you". I replied that if that was the case he should not have told me it would be done in 2 hours. He simply reiterated that his technicians needed lunch and implied that I was at fault for expecting them to work thru lunch. At this point I was appalled that my time had no value to him and by his rudeness and went to the receptionist to ask to speak with his boss. I was told his boss was out for lunch but that I could walk across the street and go speak to the GM. I set off to do this and was chased down by Jeremy (not Sam). Jeremy asked if he could help and I told him the issue. He told me he would have it done in 20 minutes. Half an hour later it was done (thank you Jeremy) and he also told me they had taken pictures of the tears in the headliner and sent them to Ram. He said it would be several days before they got back to me. Guess what, I never got a return call or any follow up whatsoever on the headliner issue. The service at this center is appalling and SAM is a disgrace to the dealer as well as to RAM. It it was my service center I would not permit Sam to speak with any customer ever. He is rude and incompetent. More

The dipstick had been drilled into it to try to remove it but I guess they could get it out so they just left it. And they just pulled the 2 rat chewed wires apart so they wouldn’t touch and short. And this is what the next dealership found a week after a got it back! I contacted Ron Sayer and they said I couldn’t prove it and that they won’t repair it! Shame on them! More
Warranty work done well. I had a "service airbag" light, and I took it in for a check. There was a problem, they took several hours to find and fix it. The detailed report sho I had a "service airbag" light, and I took it in for a check. There was a problem, they took several hours to find and fix it. The detailed report showed that every minute on those hours was used in an exhaustive search for the flaw and the correct fix. It was an original assembly mistake that required serious disassembly of the truck interior and replacement of cables damaged at the factory. All covered by the warranty, The process was communicated to me as they went, and time estimates were met. Neat and clean work - no dirt, smears or wrinkles were evident. The service department was a friendly place to visit, a real team effort at work. More
