John Dreyer is new to Jim Salerno's dealership in Randolph and we found that he was willing to go the extra mile to find exactly the model that we were looking for. We arrived at the dealership to r Randolph and we found that he was willing to go the extra mile to find exactly the model that we were looking for. We arrived at the dealership to replace an 8-year old Yukon with Yukon XL 8 passenger version. But, the color and seating requirements that I was looking for wasn't easy to locate. John was friendly and persistent in searching for our perfect car. In the end, we were thrilled and delighted with his honest, kind approach to car sales. When John didn't have the answer to a detailed question, he sought the answers from his experienced colleagues. In particular, Bernie was a wealth of knowledge. It was a nice team approach. Thanks for a great experience! More

It's hard to believe you can have such a positive experience with a car dealership but it is possible. From start to finish dealing with Jim Salerno GMC and Lenny Satisky was fantastic. Lenny bent ov experience with a car dealership but it is possible. From start to finish dealing with Jim Salerno GMC and Lenny Satisky was fantastic. Lenny bent over backwards for me and never put pressure on me to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. I would highly recommend him as a salesman and the dealership in general. Its very clean, neat and professional. Jonathon Weiner the finance manager was a pleasure to deal with as well. A+ would be my grade. More

I did finally buy A Buick Lacrosse and he made my buying experience painless and even pleasurable. His knowledge to work out a fair and reasonable contract far exceeded my expectations. These 2 gentlemen especially Dan made me feel comfortable throughout. Dan was excellent showing me all the options and controls in my new car before I drove it away. I will recommend this dealership highly to all my friends and relatives as will my husband. Thanks Dan for a great car buying experience. More

I recently leased a Verano from Jim Salerno Buick GMC in Randolph, NJ. It had been 18 years since purchasing my last car, a Roadmaster, so my recollection of that experience had long faded. I was beginning Randolph, NJ. It had been 18 years since purchasing my last car, a Roadmaster, so my recollection of that experience had long faded. I was beginning a new one. I dealt with Bob Pavelchak, New Vehicle Sales Consultant. Rather than jump right into the business end of our appointment, we took some time getting to know each other and discovered we had a lot in common. That made me feel very comfortable and it eased my anxiety. When the time came to discuss business, Bob’s experience and knowledge were immediately evident and his personality and approach in conducting our discussion assured me I was in the right place with the right person. He explained everything in a clear, understandable way and convinced me that my needs were important to him. I had no doubts I would leave there a satisfied customer. I was right. I have both the right vehicle and, thanks to Bob, a lease that’s right for me. I want to thank Bob and the rest of the team for making my experience a pleasant one. Pride in their work, professionalism, and ability to connect with their customers have earned them the excellent reputation they deserve. My expectations were exceeded and I highly recommend a visit to Jim Salerno Buick GMC for anyone considering leasing or purchasing their next vehicle. More
I started out in search of a specific vehicle on the internet that was GM certified. I found what I was looking for at Jim Salerno, so I called. AJ helped me and he was wonderful. I was probably a pain internet that was GM certified. I found what I was looking for at Jim Salerno, so I called. AJ helped me and he was wonderful. I was probably a pain in the neck, I know I felt like one with all the calls to and fro. After seeing so many online and then speaking with the various dealerships to find that the price was plus $x deposit or there was some other catch, when I spoke with AJ and found that there were no gimmicks or catches, I was relieved to find a dealership that cared about integrity. AJ worked with me for about 3 weeks (my doing, not the dealership), was friendly and helpful all the way. He did not pester me the way some other sales people did with calls every few days, he let me contact him unless he was calling me back as promised. After I was finished with my spanish inquisition, He answered all my husbands questions, too. It is hard for my husband to find a salesperson who he likes and trusts, and he found that in AJ. The whole time he had the ball in my court, and made this a pressure-free, hassle-free, stress-free experience. The pictures posted of the vehicle online were extensive and gave me a very good idea of the condition of the car, but I was still a little nervous about it since I was buying it without having seen it myself, especially after having seen a few in person that the pictures taken by the dealer looked great, but the car in person was less than appealing. I live about 2-3 hours away (traffic) so we did almost everything over the phone and email. When we showed up, the car was ready and all that had to be done was sign the paperwork. My fears evaporated when I walked up to see the car for the first time. It is immaculate, inside and out, and runs like new. The business manager, Jonathan, was great also. He offered us different options for extended warranties through GM, and even though we weren't planning on getting one, there was one that fit our needs and we bought it. The warranty is also hassle-free and completely transferrable, which made perfect sense, and we were not pressured into buying it, but informed of how it works and why it is a good idea. When all the paperwork was done, AJ sat in the car and went over where everything was and how everything operated, and asked if I had any questions, joking that I had so many over the phone and had none now, especially because I was so excited. I really had asked him everything I could think of before going to buy it, so I had none. He said thank you and goodbye, and we were on our merry way. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. I would gladly take the drive back to Jim Salerno again to purchase another vehicle, and would ask for AJ again. My husband even said when he is ready to trade in his truck, he will be calling AJ to order one. We got a great deal on a certified pre-owned car and a great experience to go along with it. It was well worth the trip not to be hassled or harassed. More
This dealership (Jim Salerno GMC Buick on Rt10 in Randolph, NJ) was the personal recommendation of my airport limo driver, following a chat about Totowa, where I had recently made a worst case bait-a Randolph, NJ) was the personal recommendation of my airport limo driver, following a chat about Totowa, where I had recently made a worst case bait-and-switch experience with Nissan Automall46 sales manager Rich Catalano. This time I was looking for an economical but comfortable, reliable used car, as the vehicle to drive to work with. I had no car to trade-in, and was not planning to have the car financed with a loan. John Meehan was particularly recommended to me but I largely dealt with Anthony "A.J." Frasca on 3 days, in which I test-drove at least 5 used vehicles between $18,000 and $32,000 asking price (Lexus GS, BMW 335xi, Buick LaCrosse, Buick Regal, Hyundai Sonata) before settling on the Hyundai. AJ's encouragement to go for the more expensive choices never went beyond what was comfortable. He seemed to have a focussed antenna for the shopping mood I was in and gently nudged me, rather than tried to rush me into decision making (which would have driven me away). AJ discouraged some other cars, certainly not driven by their price or a wish to get rid of a junker, but clearly based on the specs I was looking for. 2 of the 3 days he worked late for me, so I could test-drive the cars, with neither complaint nor exaggregated show of favoritism. Technically, all the cars I drove were in good condition, as far as I could judge. They had all been through the dealer's in-house workshop with the exception of the BMW that had just been dropped off. I took the Hyundai for an extended test drive and the only fault I could find with it were the tires (a bit down on profile) and a wee need for wheel re-alignment, hardly palpable at all, but audible while driving. We settled the deal at a fair price, including 4 new tires and a perfect realignment (yes there is one stretch of Rt 10 where the road surface is newly paved, so that you actually have a chance to judge that). With the number of used Sonatas out for sale, I might have gotten one for a few dollars less, however the overall experience here was such that I had a good feeling throughout, which is something I can't say for any other dealer I have walked into during the last 3 months (with the exception maybe of Open Road Mazda, Morristown). The sales process was smooth and fast again with no pushyness regarding extra services (I was given 2 days decision time for an extended warranty without long discussion). The car did have the 4 new tires and realignment as promised and while I have only driven it for a week now, I find no flaws. In summary, I believe I found a non-pushy car dealership that is curteous and jovial with appropriate measure, offers well checked used cars and sticks to agreements (there are 3 more Jim Salerno dealerships in the area that I have no experience with). While this impression largely stems from dealing with AJ, the people working at this dealership do seem professional and - for a change from other auto-dealers - customer oriented. They seem to enjoy working there, and while they of course want to sell cars to you, they seem to do so with the philosophy "we don't need unhappy customers in our lives, so lets give them what they want". Also, little things, like me mentioning to X that I was looking for good restaurants in the area (where I had just moved to) and walking out with a list of 5 places make dealing with them a pleasant experience. I am not sure if I can update this review after some more time with the car, but if it is possible, I will. More

They were not at all pushy during the sales process and even offered to let me take a car over the weekend to see if I liked it. I definitely felt that they were being honest with me and gave me as good a deal as they could. There were a few minor things we needed after the sale and they didn't try to nickle and dime us, they just gave them to us. Definitiely a nice group of people and someone I would definitely do business with in the future. More
