I was ok with the vehicle we already owned, but she wanted something with more room, since she was the main driver. I agreed, and she began to shop around. After looking for a bit, she noticed Kia had two particular models that were what she was looking for. She never was a "minivan" person, because of the way they looked and rode. So she called Kia in Reading to see if they stocked what she was looking for. She got ahold of James, and he was so helpful to her that when we decided to make the trip, we linked up with him. James was our guy start to finish and was very informative of Kia vehicles past, present and future. When she told him what we were looking for, he took us to the "minivan" area. While on our way there, I was wondering how it was going to go over with her. Once we arrived, he explained how they aren't what the conventional "minivans" used to be. Going over the spec, and walking us around the vehicle, I could tell, that the 2018 Sedona he was showing her, was the one for us. For us the experience was great, we got the vehicle that had the room for the growing family, AND best of all it doesn't look or feel like a conventional "minivan". I was greeted immediately by a friendly and knowledgeable Anthony. He went over all the information on the car and arranged for his co-worker to describe their commute to make sure the mpg would match my Prius. We test drive the Niro while they appraised my car. I had a reasonable offer when we returned. It was close but not exactly where I wanted to be but he went back to negotiate more. What he returned with was quite close. Then he suggested I take the car for a little to make sure I liked it and have my husband look over it as well. When we returned he was able to split the difference and we made the deal. The entire process of buying a new car, trading my existing car and getting financing only took a little of my Saturday afternoon and I left with a great car with amazing mpg and a lifetime power train that includes the batteries!! More
