Service department is a joke. I am beyond furious with this dealership currently. My girlfriend has a 2018 Jeep Compass that burns a ton of oil with only 40,000 miles on the engine I am beyond furious with this dealership currently. My girlfriend has a 2018 Jeep Compass that burns a ton of oil with only 40,000 miles on the engine. I brought it to Savage CDJR for this issue. We paid $100 for the oil change to start the consumption check progress and then we're told to bring it back every 1000 miles that it is acceptable to burn two quarts every 1000 miles (are you buying this? Because I'm not) citing that the 0w20 oil they use is thinner and meant for better fuel economy. (Toyota and Honda use this same grade oil and they don't burn through it) So we went through the process returning twice within the mileage requested. After the second time they said to bring it back after 1500. Today I took it back after reaching the 1500 mile mark only to be told that Jeep has changed their policy and I would have to pay for another oil change long before the car is due for one. Also previously had an issue with the car randomly throwing a check engine light and going into limp home mode. Savage tells us it's a software update that FCA hasn't released yet. Car continued having issues. Savage refused to look at it and told us to take it back to the dealer that we bought it from which is a greater distance away. Took it to them and they had the check engine solved within a day. This dealership is full of lies and deceit. Find a better place to get your car serviced.u More
Had my differential fixed cause of a hole in it. also transmission updated. I know it was under warranty but it saved me almost $1800. Very pleased with service and John.
