The sales staff were very helpful in getting us the car we wanted. The actual sales process was no pressure which was a nice change from other car buying experiences I've had. we wanted. took Lincoln Town Car overnight to test drive, put in around $52 worth of gas to make the trip. Only used about half that amount. Asked if a partial refund was possible for the gas after I declined the c around $52 worth of gas to make the trip. Only used about half that amount. Asked if a partial refund was possible for the gas after I declined the car. Manager assured me no problem, they would mail me $20; couldn't give it to me on the spot 'cause the bookkeeper was out. Called a week later - still no check. Two weeks later - have written it off. Manager had no intention of keeping his word. Not surprising since the sales staff didn't bother telling me that this was a "hit car" until after I returned it and saw the CARFAX. Principle here is not the $20; it's "whoever is faithful in what is least is faithful in much". If I could not trust these foks over a matter of twenty bucks, I sure wasn't going to be confident if I had a warranty problem with the car. jjd Newtown CT More
