Sarasota Ford

Well I bought my first new car, a 2011 Mustang GT premium. I bought this car 3 months ago and decided I should pass on my positive experience. Negotiations were simple and a good deal was on the table so I bought it. Yes, I'm a haggler always looking for the best deal and they came through without difficulty. I've also bought a used car from them about 8 years ago, so this is my second buying experience from Sarasota Ford. I have had minor warranty work needed and my service rep at the dealership took care of business and got me back to enjoying my new Mustang. More

This dealership is a joke. I usually deal with Brandon Ford and will never stray from them after this experience. I called about a price I saw on the internet - there were 4 of the same cars with that pri Ford and will never stray from them after this experience. Mysteriously, two of the cars that I'd driven an hour to see were now gone after only 2 hours since my call had gone by. And the ones that were left were SHOCKER the more expensive ones. I was never dishonest about my price range yet for some reason they were misled. We get into the dealing room and they come back with a price $4K HIGHER than the internet price. When I asked why I was told...and I quote... "If we put the actual price out there do you think we'd get any phone calls?" HAHA...so you false advertise to waste people's time and let them think they are getting a better deal when its actually far worse. Don't deal with them, go to another Ford dealership and be treated with respect. More

Will never do business with them, or recommend anyone I know. Instead of showing me autos they offered me drinks and ice cream. I didn't go there to eat I went there to buy! Once they finally showed me a truck and I drove it they immediately sent a manager in to pressure me. Asking me if I'm committed to buy. xxxx, I drove 10 miles sat there for 1 1/2 hrs by this time and you ask me if I'm committed. Then once they did give me the price it was way off from what the salesman told me. After a total of 4 hrs I left upset and went the next day to Autoway ford and bought a truck in 1 hr and 20 mins. By the way on a more positive note Autoway said "Thank You" for sending me to them. More
