Yesterday, Sunday, March 10, 2024, I stopped by GMC Santa Monica to see and thank (Salesperson) Adiss Stepanian for his help and the kindness he displayed to me during the past few months. When I attempted Monica to see and thank (Salesperson) Adiss Stepanian for his help and the kindness he displayed to me during the past few months. When I attempted to leave the lot, my Hummer SUV EV would not go into drive or park. Adiss spent more than hour, cheerfully helping me to reset the vehicle’s computer. Adiss was able to get me going and sent me on my way. The funny thing is, I didn’t buy the Hummer from him or from Santa Monica Buick; I bought it last month from another dealer. (The spec. I wanted on the SUV was just being built and shipped and was extremely rare. Only one other dealer in the U.S. had my spec. at the time. ) I was only at GMC Santa Monica to say hello to and thank Adiss when the breakdown occurred. He did no hesitate to help me and (with no help from the closed service department) was determined to get me going again Sunday afternoon. There are very few people like this I meet anymore. It was so refreshing to have that experience. Thank you, Adiss; you will be remembered. Dan P (and Teddy, the Black Havanese.) More
Hands down, the best customer service I have ever experienced at a dealer. The service writer was great, and kept me updated on the status of my car. The concierge was a delight to deal with too. I h experienced at a dealer. The service writer was great, and kept me updated on the status of my car. The concierge was a delight to deal with too. I had to leave my car with them, but they were so kind to offer complimentary Alto ride both from and back to the dealership. I will definitely bring my car back for service in the future! More

A FULL MONTH. i'd strongly recommend anyone considering purchasing a vehicle to look elsewhere. this has been my worst consumer experience ever, and they did not care at all. More
My car had problems with the driver side door not unlocking so I went to the Santa Monica Dealership. After paying $200, the diagnosis was that the "entire door locking mechanism had to be replaced unlocking so I went to the Santa Monica Dealership. After paying $200, the diagnosis was that the "entire door locking mechanism had to be replaced at a cost of $1350". This included $750 for parts and the balance for labor at a cost of $279/hr. Since the door was still working intermittently, I decided not to it fixed at the time. When the door lock stopped working completely, I again called the dealer. Scott, supposedly the manager, said that they would "have to charge for another diagnostic fee of $279 because the first one was done some months ago". When I protested (after all nothing had changed with the car), he backed off but said they would "not apply my initial $200 fee" to the upcoming repair. THis was in total contradiction to what I was initially told (and is the normal policy ). So I left. In the mean time, I watched a couple you tube videos which suggested that the problem might simply be that the door lock pressure PAD needed to be replaced. I immediately ordered it from Amazon and replaced the part. Do you know what this cost?! The part was only $20 and I did not charge for my labor of 20 minutes to install!! The "technician" would have seen the problem in 5 MINUTES and would have spent minutes ..not HOURS to replace a $20 part. More
