I recently purchased a used 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 from Santa Fe Ford. I was in the market as my 1998 Ram had been totaled in a wreck. I saw this particular vehicle on Santa Fe Ford's website. The process began by requesting information on the vehicle from the internet. Ron called the same day and set up a test drive. He was very "low pressure" throughout the entire process. He appeared to be more interested in getting a right fit between the owner and vehicle than selling a particular unit. He was interested in the sale, but he wanted to be sure the correct product was matched with the right client. He asked what the needs of my family were and why I was in the market. Ron was upfront regarding what the vehicle had been used for and gave me the car fax report before he gave me the keys for the scheduled test drive. In finalizing the sale, Ron agreed to fix some minor issues regarding safety equipment and had no issues in having a second mechanic review the vehicle's major components. This is nothing against Santa Fe Ford's service department, as they have treated me well with my other vehicles. Ron was very communicative through the entire process, as a couple of the fix issues were more involved than either of us anticipated. I would highly recommend Ron Hinson to anyone who is seriously considering purchasing a vehicle, new or used. Santa Fe Ford's service and rental departments laid the ground work for me to consider buying from Santa Fe Ford. Ron's demeanor, integrity and style sealed the deal.
