This is for the service department... I finally made it This is for the service department... I finally made it in about a failing AC Control unit on my 2019 GMC Canyon after calling in about it in June This is for the service department... I finally made it in about a failing AC Control unit on my 2019 GMC Canyon after calling in about it in June 2021 to verify 3-year warranty not realizing that my milage would exceed the warranty guidelines by the time I brought it in as I was only thinking about the 3-year timeframe (not the fault of the dealership as I only asked about the 3-years in regards to the failing part). I was less than happy with the situation when I received the work order quote in the misunderstanding (admittedly me) and I mentioned I had called in about it before (I think I said 90 days but it was actually more like 5 months after reviewing) and the service manager came out from his office after overhearing the conversation and said he would see what could be done as I was 3k miles out of warranty. The Sangster Motors service manager called GM to see if they would be willing to cover it and GM agreed to cover up to or most of the repair with a small deductible/co-pay on my part. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to do business with someone who will go to bat for customers when misunderstanding on the customer's part is in play, making the effort is why I come back time and time again.
