Brian and Pete made the process of buying my car as easy as could be. They provided the best customer service I have had yet with any car dealership. They were able help get me the best trade in offer and as could be. They provided the best customer service I have had yet with any car dealership. They were able help get me the best trade in offer and the lowest interest rate that was available. They were friendly and courteous at all times (which is a huge plus this day and time). Overall experience with the Sandy Sansing staff (Brian & Pete especially) was excellent and I will definitely go back again when I purchase my next car/truck. More
Single mom needed a car, and I went to Sandy Sansing Nissan. Worse mistake ever. The car has obviously been in an accident and has a gap on the passenger side door, I didn't notice this on the test driv Nissan. Worse mistake ever. The car has obviously been in an accident and has a gap on the passenger side door, I didn't notice this on the test drive as I was driving, not riding in the passenger seat. I called and called, never got a return call. I was told the high pitch squeal from the brakes were because they were metallic brakes. They didn't tell me the brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. The car also has a busted motor mount, and a tire going bald on the outer side. This does not make me feel safe to drive my child around. I wish I had read reviews of the dealership first. More
My husband and I are on a fixed income. We needed a newer car, but did not want a payment that was more than we could afford. Both Lee and Brian worked dillengently in our behalf until they found a pa newer car, but did not want a payment that was more than we could afford. Both Lee and Brian worked dillengently in our behalf until they found a payment that we were comfortable with. Waiting in a car dealership can be very stressful, but not once during the time that it took to complete the sale, were we ignored. Mr. & Mrs. Ronald B. Howard More
I purchased my Nissan Altima from this dealership and had the very best experience I could hope for. These guys were great and I would recommend to anyone the very best experience I could hope for. These guys were great and I would recommend to anyone More
I came in on Friday, August 3 to browse and get a feel for what I wanted. I purchased a used vehicle from Sandy Sansing in late 2007 which my wife still drives today, and I liked the experience the first for what I wanted. I purchased a used vehicle from Sandy Sansing in late 2007 which my wife still drives today, and I liked the experience the first time around and decided Sanding Sansing was where I wanted to buy from. There was a great vehicle that was close to my price range and a salesman with 'Internet Joe' on his name tag was helpful and friendly throughout the process. I told him I would come in sometime in the next week with my wife and likely make a purchase the next time I came in. We shook hands, and I headed home. The next day, Saturday, August 4, I woke up early to make sure my wife had time to come in before she had to be at work later that night. We found Joe almost immediately, and I let him know I wanted to take the Altima I had my eye on for a test drive. Again he was friendly, and we went inside to discuss a deal thereafter. Through negotiation we didn't come to a price we could both agree upon, so we shook hands again, and my wife and I headed back home. I told Joe to keep his eye open for similar cars that we may be able to get to the price I wanted to pay. He said he would definitely keep me posted on anything that came up. About an hour later I got a call from Joe. He said he had great news - he spoke with a different sales manager and made an offer to me that was excellent. He asked if I could drive back up to make the deal. I live about 35 minutes away, and I didn't want to waste a trip, so I explicitly asked, "So the deal you are giving me is the out the door price? - It includes ALL the fees and taxes, correct?" Joe said YES!...everything is setup and ready to go. I, AGAIN, asked, "So when I get there, this is the price I will be paying AFTER ALL fees, correct?" Again Joe assured my all was well. I was satisfied and headed back to Sandy Sansing. When I arrived Joe had lots of paper work ready on the table. I asked him again, "So this is set in stone?" He assured me once more, so we started to work through the paper work. I signed several papers, he made copies of pertinent information, and the new sales manager, whose name I unfortunately did not have the chance of getting, headed in our direction. He whisked by the table, dropped a paper, and stated, "Here's your printout Joe!, *Price* + tax, tag, and fees." He hurried off, never greeting me or acknowledging me at all. Joe called the sales manager over and explained that there 'may have been a miscommunication.' They had a little back-and-forth in front of me trying to figure out where the breakdown of communication came into play. The sales manager looked at me and stated, "So is there another car we have you like?" I told him that I had my heart set on the one I had made the verbal deal about. I asked Joe, "So I thought you checked and made sure?" He was very apologetic, stating he had good intentions. I shrugged it off and said, "I guess I'm going to go ahead and go, unless we can make the deal I drove here for." The sales manager snapped at me, "We wouldn't lie to you sir. I guess you *should* go ahead and leave. We don't have time for this." He then walked off. **--**THIS was the part of the ordeal that was absolutely outrageous. I cannot believe that ANY employee of Sanding Sansing would present him/herself in this manner. Joe apologized again, while the sales manager loudly told him from several yards away, "Don't even worry about it Joe. Don't worry about him at all." Again, I cannot believe that this happened. This was an absolutely AWFUL experience. Not getting the deal the first time around is just fine. I was never upset that the deal wasn't happening immediately. I understood from the beginning that it may be a few weeks before I got exactly what I was looking for. The level of civility was proper and professional up to the interaction with the sales manager. For him to act like I was such an inconvenience and that I was a waste of his time was very insulting and offensive. I like Sandy Sansing. I had the intention of being a lifetime customer. After this incident, I seriously doubt this will hold true. I love Nissans, and the extra drive to another Nissan dealership to avoid Sandy Sansing seems reasonable all the sudden. Again, the lack a made deal is NOT the issue. The behavior of the sales manager IS the issue - a major issue that needs to be looked into. Hopefully this review grabs someone's attention that can council the sales manager so customers will not have similar experiences in the future. More
Do not deal with Bryan at all. He lied right to my face and didn't have any shame in doing it. He needs to be fired if Sandy Sansing is going to retain a good reputation. In the south you dont lie and y and didn't have any shame in doing it. He needs to be fired if Sandy Sansing is going to retain a good reputation. In the south you dont lie and you certainly dont lie to a war vetran who takes that very serious. I have no use for that cat and don't want him dealing with younger troops that may not know how to handle an untrustworthy individual. My salesman Peter was exceptional and I would buy another used car from him in the future. Emory is a stand-up guy and I will go back to Sandy Sansing in the future because he is a man of his word. I also am very impressed with the help Jolie provided even when faced with a very difficult situation. All in all, Sandy Sansing has very good employees. One bad apple should not be an obstacle to you buying experience. More
Sandy Sansing was great as long as my car was under warranty. My care has low miles, but it is now over three years old and every time I take it in, they remind me, more that once, that is isn’t under warranty. My care has low miles, but it is now over three years old and every time I take it in, they remind me, more that once, that is isn’t under warranty any longer. I am aware of that and wouldn’t bring it in if I wasn't prepared to pay for the work. I started hearing a rattle in my Versa several months ago, I took it in and they put some “clamps” in it, but didn’t explain what the issue was, it kept having the rattle so I took it back and the one of the men in the reception area of the service department came out to listen to it and actually had to nerve to say to me “maybe you just need to get out more” which he thought was pretty funny. I was not amused. He then said I would have to drop my car off in the morning so that they could investigate and find out where the rattle was coming from. He didn’t see anything in the computer about the previous “clamps” that were put in. I had problems when I first bought the car, it needed a new fuel pump before it even had 100 miles on it! I was told that is because the car was made at the Mexico plant and there seem to be some issues with those. That problem was taken care of, after several trips to the mechanic there, they did figure out that it was a fuel pump. And, the person that I usually spoke to, I’ll leave out his name, was very nice and apologetic about a new car having such a problem. As I mentioned though, the longer I have the car, the less they seem to want to help, even with a regular oil change. SO, I took it to another mechanic and the rattle problem was solved in just few minutes. For all you other Versa owners, it was the heat shield rattling. I will end with saying that I would NOT purchase another car from a Sandy Sansing dealership, which is unfortunate, as I have many car buying years left! More
I bought a 2008 gmc acadia from this store. The car has had so many problems. Within 24 hours we called our sales agent and reported that the oil was not changed, the bumper had a hole in it (which we didn had so many problems. Within 24 hours we called our sales agent and reported that the oil was not changed, the bumper had a hole in it (which we didnt notice in the dark when we bought it), the transmission was slipping (and went out a few weeks later), and the passenger air bag was always reading "off" and we are scared to drive with a passenger!! He told us that he would love to help us but his manager was a "dick" and said that it was our problem because we bought the car as is. Now the fuel pump is going out, the brakes had to be changed and rotors turned because they were so bad, the transmision was fixed under gmc warranty (but is still having trouble). We asked the dealer to fix the air bag at our cost and to recheck the transmission because it is not working properly. They put a "rebuilt" transmission in it and it makes a horrible grinding noise and misses a lot. They sent me away and told me they could not fix the airbag because they dont know what is wrong with it and that the transmission cant be fixed any better either. At our wits end we contacted customer service. This lead us to the horrible Manager Bryan. He treated us horrible from day one, which is another story entirely. He basically told us he would buy back our car that we paid $23,500 for 2 months prior for $19k. Take it or leave it. He is a horrible person to represent this company. Even his employees call him names! (I can totally see why) So now we are stuck taking our own lives in our hands every time we ride in our vehicle we willl be paying for for the next five years. This vehicle has left us stranded on the side of the road twice in 2 months, with no help from Sandy Sansing. By the way, this is the 3rd $20k plus vehicle we have bought from this company in 5 years. Way to take care of your loyal customers. More
Given a price on the lot, and jumped considerably in the show room. Price of trade in jumped up and down with the numbers that never really added up. Kept showing what a great savings it was, and didn't eve show room. Price of trade in jumped up and down with the numbers that never really added up. Kept showing what a great savings it was, and didn't even come close to the price first quoted to get us to come in the front door. Has to pay for too much advertising to give any good deals. More
