Had a Check Engine light on my 2001 Explorer. I also have a new Kia, so it seemed logical to use Sand's garage to work on my old Ford. I was worried something expensive was going on under my hood. Chrissy called me at home shortly after they started working on the vehicle and asked me if I was sitting down. GULP. Yes, I responded. She then told me the check engine light was caused by a worn seal on my gas cap. That's right, no mechanical repairs for me! Just a new gas cap. I left paying a fraction of what I thought I'd need to pay. Everyone in their service group that I've delt with has been great! I appreciate the fast and honest service too. More
Brought in my new Sorento to have the front windows tinted. Chrissy said it should take about an hour and she was absolutely right. I came back to KIA again because of their trusted and excellent service and they took my '03 KIA Sorento in for necessary repairs on time. My Service writer Stephen Sanchez was always professional, courteous, always recommended my needed repairs and he always followed through with what he told me. I have found the the service manager, technicians, greeters, delivery people to be courteous, professional and always had a great attitude. I would recommend this Sands Surprise Kia dealership to friends, family and strangers for their Great service from all of their professionals. I did not change to no when asked would I recommend this dealer, but I'm very close to doing so. The four times I've gone to the service department have not been pretty. The first time, I had an appointment dealer, but I'm very close to doing so. The four times I've gone to the service department have not been pretty. The first time, I had an appointment and was told the service wouls take 45 minutes. An hour later, I went to check on my car and they hadn't even pulled it in for service. I had to leave because I had other things to do. The seond time I went in for the same service, they were done in twenty minutes. A service they said would be forty five. They even explained why it takes that long. It took less time than they said one of the items takes on its own. So, did I get everything I was supposed to? It would seem impossible. The thirsd time, I left my car there because I didn't want to get upset. The fourth time, I had an appointment. Ninty minutes into my oil change, I decided to find out what was taking so long on an appointment for an oik change. They said it was done. It was just sitting up on the rack. I opted out of the car wash due to time contraints. I have had nothing but unnecessarily slow service or such fast service I wonder if my service was actually performed. Unpredicatble should not be a term given to your mechanic. More
