All the negative reviews are spot on with this place. We bought a "new" Sedona here 2 years ago. It was deeply discounted because it was a dealer demo. This basically means it was used by the dealership for bought a "new" Sedona here 2 years ago. It was deeply discounted because it was a dealer demo. This basically means it was used by the dealership for varies things including as a courtesy vehicle for others during repairs. It had 6k miles on it, but never been titled, so sold as new. Finance team is very sneaky. They tried adding an extended warranty for $2500 without my permission, and refused to reprint the contract until I threatened to walk. It ended up being a complete lemon. The first summer, the A/C completely stopped working. Brought it back to Sands for service, and they said it was the compressor. It was replaced. Driving back from service after a new compressor, the A/C is still blowing hot. I take it back. The "service manager" wants to keep it overnight and drive it around to reproduce the issue. He drives it home that night, puts close to 100 miles on it, and hands it back over saying it's working fine and within Kia's specs. Still blowing hot. I finally took it to Peoria Kia and they determined Sands failed to flush out the lines and replace/clean the desiccant bag, which was chalked full of debris. Typically a desiccant bag is replaced with a compressor. Just traded in the Sedona this past week. I thought I would give Sands another shot. What a joke! After we walked out they called us back and offered some additional money for our trade and discount to include gap in the deal. I told them we didn't want to waste time, I was leaving town. They still made us wait over an hour - and charged me for the gap when the sales rep said in a text message to me it would be included! And get this - one of the "discounts" they were giving me was from the gap on my previous car that was supposed to be refunded to me. Outright lies by sales rep and sales manager. The avg consumer would be non-the-wiser. I was told by both the sales rep and the sales manager (later via phone) that the car we bought (yes, we ended up buying it) had remote start. We sat outside for 30 minutes trying to get the remote start configured. They said we needed to try from our wifi at home. Got home, still not working. I call Kia and they say the car doesn't have a remote start. Unreal. Stay far away! More

Due to his expertise and advice, we decided on a Forte5. We could not be more pleased with this car. The sales manager, Steve Hamilton also bent over backwards to accommodate us. everything that perpetuates the "sleazy car dealer" cliche I’m so sorry I recommended Sands for an oil change on my parents’ leased Optima. That started a set of interactions that were aggressive, manipulative, unnecessary, and ultimately highly unethical in my opinion. The final outcome was three days of frustration that involved two new car purchase contracts, an early termination fee they were told they weren’t going to have to pay, and a payment that was almost $200 more than they were initially promised. At one point, the GM had the option to do the right thing and just unwind the mess they had manipulated them into. Not only did he choose not to; he was rude to them to boot. Unfortunately, with their age, this is likely the last car they will ever buy, and I’m so sorry I steered them to a dealership that went out of its way to perpetuate the “sleazy car dealer” cliché. Seeing my mother in tears over such a horrible experience is guilt I will live with every day. If I can save one person from that type of outcome, then the time I spent writing this review was worth it. Just go anywhere else. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to Sands Kia. More

Wow!!!! I went in to sands Kia to look at a Kia Soul. I was helped by the best sales person I've ever delt with Brady Rohlwing! My only question to sands why is Brady only a salesperson, he needs to be promoted with a big raise !... He not only deals with customers, he has incoming sales people shadow him to learn his good techniques,skills and ethical values. It was a real pleasure ! In addition , Brady's Sales Manager Matt Martin is understanding , a good listener and knows how to crunch the numbers. Should you go car hunting be sure to go dig in the Sands! I love my Kia Solar yellow Soul!!! This place is ridiculous, I have been trying to resolve an issue with this dealership since I purcha If I could leave zero or negative stars, I would. This place is ridiculous, I have been trying to resolve an issue with this dealership since I purchased a vehicle in January. I traded my 2015 Kia Soul in for a 2012 Toyota Tundra, advertised at $15,995 and ended up paying $36,000.00 (by the time its paid off with Ally, the finance company), an over-priced paperweight that has not been driven since two weeks after it was purchased. I got a bait and switch on our finance paperwork, was told we had been approved at about 6.5% and when I reviewed my paperwork, it was over 12% (with a co-signer!). Despite many phone calls, I still have not received my warranty paperwork, so I cannot fix the truck. The truck was sold with no issues, and it has more than I can count (total lemon) including serious rusting. They gave us a Carfax that also reflects a near perfect truck (with the exception of an accident, which I have been unable to verify what the damage was) and gave us a piece of crap rust bucket with serious issues. Additionally, they gave me $2000 less for my trade than what we agreed upon and tacked on an additional $4000 for the truck. Additionally, our financing was contingent upon submitting proof of income for my co-signer, which I was later told was no longer needed (even though my co-signer no longer had income). I later found out this was due to the fact that they falsified our application so that it would no longer be needed (I got an approval and denial from the same company and the explained everything to me). To add further insult to injury, they were supposed to hold my $2,000 deposit for 21 days and overdrew my account twice, causing a total of $70 in fees that they were supposed to reimburse and still have not. I have tried to resolve this amicably with the dealership and have been unsuccessful. So, needless to say, I will be filing complaints everywhere imaginable. I also have a fraud case with the finance company. DO NOT SHOP HERE! Also, here recently I have been harassed by a sales manager Scotty, who would desperately love to have me trade my tundra for a new car! Ha. No thank you! More
