Good but not great I dropped my car off for service on a warranty water pump. That portion was fine, they replaced it without cost. However, coolant that was leaking fro I dropped my car off for service on a warranty water pump. That portion was fine, they replaced it without cost. However, coolant that was leaking from the pump soaked the belt which would ultimately cause slipping or as the service adviser put it "squeaking" and they recommend that it be replaced. This would not be covered under the warranty as this item is a normal wear and tear item. Even though their faulty part caused the issue. I figured fine I will pay for the belt if shouldn't cost too much maybe $30-40 plus they already have it apart. Nope, $90. For of the part and labor. It's bad enough I have to pay for a part damaged by their faulty part now in being charged labor for something that has already been removed. In not happy with this. It is not the service writers fault but it is a failure in customer service on the dealerships and/or manufacturers part for not allowing this to be covered under warranty. Especially since it's going to cause the powertrain to not run efficiently with a slipping belt. More
