I would rate this place a zero star if I could. The experience I have had has been a nightmare. I brought my vehicle to Sands Chevrolet Surprise after a young kid backed up info my vehicle and broke my experience I have had has been a nightmare. I brought my vehicle to Sands Chevrolet Surprise after a young kid backed up info my vehicle and broke my grill and dislodged my bumper. I thought bringing my car to a dealership for auto body repair was the best choice since I purchased my car from their lot. They replaced the grill and called to tell me my car was ready. After arriving home my husband asked if they did a walk through with me which they didn’t and he noticed they replaced my grill with another broken grill that was in worse shape than how I brought my vehicle to them. And to top it off my bumper was not fixed- the one side is still dislodged. I called back Monday and Jim I believe his name was played dumb that he remembered my car and he had 3 ppl look at it and he was sorry it was missed. When I brought up the bumper he said that sometimes it won’t go back flush as it may be out of line. I told him that was unacceptable as my car was in mint shape before the incident. He said they’d look at it. Then a day goes by and I start getting an error message- stabiliteck. Google references that it is related to the steering column so I made sure they were aware of that as well as the error never popped up before they touched my car in first place. Fast forward to dropping car off- they advised the rental would be on site- the lady who called to made appointment assured me it was and that all my notes were there. Upon arriving my notes were not in the system to check bumper and error and the rental was not on site so I had to leave and come back due to their horrible communication. Angie calls me 12 hours later and says my car is good to go and grill is replaced. I asked about error and bumper and she said it wasn’t in her system to check and she’d look into that and follow up. Today she calls me to tell me the error message is showing a low voltage battery and it needs to be replaced. So we call back and ask about code and online showing nothing about a battery and the screen in dash never showing low battery and my husband asks what happens if this comes back on- Henry assured my husband it wouldn’t. They want to charge me $140 for a diagnostic test without telling me upfront that charge would be there and they want to tell me they have to make sure labor is paid when I had to go back due to them messing up and providing half xxx quality the first time I trusted them with my car. We told them we didn’t agree with the charge and we had to bring car back to them due to mistakes and if I was told up front about a diagnosis fee- I would have taken my car elsewhere. I am beyond livid with the experience and the customer service I have received from a dealership that strives on quality. Like I said- I’d rate this zero stars if I could. More

We purchased a truck that had just been traded in that I had not even been looked at. But because we thought we were getting a good deal on the truck and they stated that they would look the vehicle over an had not even been looked at. But because we thought we were getting a good deal on the truck and they stated that they would look the vehicle over and inspect it. We trusted that in good faith we would be OK. Two years of owning the truck and I’ve had nothing but issues and paying thousands of dollars to fix the truck that we received that was used. We’ve done everything in our power to make sure the truck stays up-to-date and in good health of the vehicle. The last two months we put in almost 2000 dollars of work. We took the truck in Monday as this is a work truck and we lost clients throughout the entire 24 hour day as they were looking over our vehicle because we told them something was wrong. They want to tell us this is gradual and computers don’t show. The next day the car broke down and now needs almost 5,000 to fix transmission. We are so upset that the service department is not that great and they don’t do as much as they do to help with cost like they say they do. Oh we saved you $400 oh wait $700 but it’s still $4,495. We have a mechanic that just told us 3,850. So now we have to have the truck towed all because they did not do the verifying the first time correct. We could have had the mechanic before do the work. And we will from this pony on. We won’t have the dealer ever do the work. And now they lost our business for a new truck when this one is paid off. More

Worst. Experience. Ever. Bought new 2020 Traverse. It had a few factory defects in the paint that was on the “we owe” to fix. After 2.5 weeks of following up with them, I fina Bought new 2020 Traverse. It had a few factory defects in the paint that was on the “we owe” to fix. After 2.5 weeks of following up with them, I finally got it in to the shop. It’s been over a month and we still don’t have our new car back yet!!!! They said it was ready, we went there to pick it up, it looked worse than before. Their Glendale collision shop did a horrible job and I cannot believe they were going to give me the car back to me like that. I’ve had 5 different managers apologize, say they will follow up, call me on this day, send me emails. Nothing! Going directly to GM to try and find answers. More
Service department is the best I have been to multiple Chevrolet dealers In the past for service and had mediocre to terrible service. I called and set an appointment with Dan Simps I have been to multiple Chevrolet dealers In the past for service and had mediocre to terrible service. I called and set an appointment with Dan Simpson phone experience was great. went in to get an alignment on my truck after installing a lift and steering wheel leather was coming apart. While I was there Dan advised me of upcoming maintenance that I was aware of that was due in a couple hundred miles I assessed him and he passed my expectations so I told him let's get the maintenance done, just to give an idea of what this means to me... I am a ase certified automotive technician and typically do all my own maintenance and repairs just for peace of mind that I know I did it and was done to my expectations with that said he killed me with his professionalism kindness and knowledge all in one conversation. So I decided to bring my traverse in for a problem with it as well and got the exact same attitude and absolute great service from mr Dan Simpson. I thank you to sands Chevrolet and Dan for the great service and experience with the service department keep up the good work! More

Pleasantly surprised !! Purchased a 2007 Corvette with 7,000 miles out of state and drove 850 miles back to AZ with nearly zero service since new. Hearing strange sounds from Purchased a 2007 Corvette with 7,000 miles out of state and drove 850 miles back to AZ with nearly zero service since new. Hearing strange sounds from the rear, I took it to Sands in Surprise and met Ken Ashby, a seasoned Service Writer. We decide to change all fluids, align all 4 wheels and connect a battery tender connection. Ken knew a possible cause of the rear noise and offered dealer coupon pricing with a hand wash. When I picked it up, 2 services were missed. Ken made up for the error to my benefit. At this time, the rear end noise is gone as he predicted. Further, while the convertible was there overnight a severe hail storm occurred. My car was moved indoors averting damage. Needless to say, Ken earned my repeat business. If there was any negative, I would say the dealership online service appointment self scheduling program is a farce. I used it twice and in both cases it took much longer to have the car actually being serviced. Although the Lyff ride home was appreciated. Final thoughts to dealership: Make bottled water available to customers rather than hiding it & fix the large TV sound system then ask employees to not continually adjust sound up & down. Three and half hours of this while waiting is annoying. Thanks Ken, in my judgement, you are an outstanding employee working in my behalf. Lou More
Horrible money hungry I unfortunately bought two vehicles from sands. My Malibu has needed two alignments in less than a year with less than 17000 miles. I have owned man I unfortunately bought two vehicles from sands. My Malibu has needed two alignments in less than a year with less than 17000 miles. I have owned many vehicles and never needed alignments. In addition there sales tactics are pushy and they lie quite often to get you in the door then they say my bad and don’t honor the deal. More
