promise I called and needed to have my Spark serviced to keep the contract up and Jean got me in the very next morning and at a 7 AM appointment. Changing of fluids Came to Sands for an oil change - this was done and the cost was reasonable. In the process, they checked fluids and when completed they came to me a Came to Sands for an oil change - this was done and the cost was reasonable. In the process, they checked fluids and when completed they came to me and told me that all the fluids in my car (Transmission, coolant, brakes, and power steering needed to be flushed. Along with that they informed me that my fuel filter needed to be cleaned and that was a 3 part process. Total would be $975.00 - with no offer of any coupons. Told them I would hold off until I checked with my dealership back home. Called my dealership along with one other dealership and they informed me that with my model truck ( 2013 Avalanche ) that fluids did NOT have to be flushed. Regarding the fuel filter, in this truck the fuel filter is in the gas tank and that it did not have to be cleaned as they had in the older models. If anything, the fuel filter would simply be replaced. I then called another dealer that I had been to back home and they told me the same thing. Hard for me to believe that the Service Advisor gave me all of this bad information - and that they were going to charge me $975 for a service I did not need! Will I be going back to Sands Chevrolet - I think that you can answer that question! More

My truck was returned with large grease prints on the front bumper. More
