Brakes Squeaked My brakes have squeaked intermittently since I got my car, but inn the past 2 weeks have gotten worse, so I took it in. With 2100 miles I shouldn't h My brakes have squeaked intermittently since I got my car, but inn the past 2 weeks have gotten worse, so I took it in. With 2100 miles I shouldn't have squeaky brakes. I arrived on time, and my service writer informed me that she wasn't sure they could fix the problem, brakes sometimes squeak. Having owned GM cars for the past 30+ years, and with 2100 miles I told her I expected that my brakes should NOT squeak. 2 1/2 hours later my car was ready, they'd cleaned the pads. I got in and pulling out, I had to use my brakes and they SQUEAKED. So I tried them a couple more times and now the problem happened 100% of the time I used my brakes, so I pulled around to Service. The service writer, the lead tech and I went for a test drive and the brakes still squeaked. So 1 1/2 hours later (total of 4 hours at the dealer), they'd "fixed" them again. Problem is still intermittent and I will have to go back yet again. It's a real put off when the service writer greets you with the statement that you may just have to live with squeaky brakes. More

Professionalism Sands Chevrolet has service down to a science. Even before my visit, I receive a call and text reminding me of my appointment. Upon my arrival, I was Sands Chevrolet has service down to a science. Even before my visit, I receive a call and text reminding me of my appointment. Upon my arrival, I was met by my Service Advisor (Marc Phillips). We discussed the details of my service visit and then he escorted me to the waiting area. I knew the routine as this was not my first visit. However, Marc made sure that I was comfortable. The decision to wait was mine even though I understand that courtesy car service is available. Marc kept me apprised of the progress of my service. He also advised me of what would be needed in the future to keep my Chevy (2013 Tahoe LTZ) running at top performance. The service was completed under the estimated time. Marc escorted me to my waiting vehicle. Five star service is hard to come by these days but the service department at Sands Chevrolet (Surprise) earned every star and then some. Kudos to Marc and the rest of the service crew. More
