bunch of lying thiefs My name is Jadiel Rojas. I have purchased 2 vehicles from Sands. I have taken my )6 GMC in 3 times for the same problem- transmission issue. The first My name is Jadiel Rojas. I have purchased 2 vehicles from Sands. I have taken my )6 GMC in 3 times for the same problem- transmission issue. The first time they replaced, against my advice, the computer for the transmission. When that was not it, then they listened and replaced the gearbox as I had instructed. it was a mechanical issue, not electrical. Then they did a crappy job at installation and since I got the truck back, it has been giving me a code that comes and goes and it is shifting the 4x4 at will. Finally the code stays on so I took it back and they tried to tell me that it is something else not related- the encoder motor. The encoder motor is an integral part of the gear box so therefore it is under warranty but they were trying to charge me separately. They also caused leaks on my transmission due to crappy installation. Then they had no shame and since I bitched them out, they tried to act like they were doing me a favor by changing the encoder motor and not charging me for it. I must have stupid written on my forehead. And then the manager leaves me a message calling it 3 different concerns. Im in the market for a new $70,000 truck; guess who Im not buying it from. My son will get to keep my old truck so its not a trade in. I will just have to take it to a competitor GM dealer so they can fix the clusterf.... left to me by Sands under warranty and charge Sands for it. :-) More
