I recently purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox from Sands Chevrolet in Surprise . Adam Marinaccio was the sales staff that assisted me throughout the purchase process. I have to tell you how pleasant t Chevrolet in Surprise . Adam Marinaccio was the sales staff that assisted me throughout the purchase process. I have to tell you how pleasant this vehicle purchasing experience was. I had been to four (4) other Valley car dealerships in the previous three weeks and all those experiences were atrocious. The staff was condescending to me; tried to intimidate me and high pressure me into purchasing a vehicle they had available to sell vs selling me the vehicle that I wanted. My experience at Sands Chevrolet was completely different thanks to Adam. From the moment he greeted me in the showroom, Adam was respectful without being condescending. He afforded me all the time I needed in order select the vehicle that I wanted to purchase. He fully explained all the details and operations of the Chevrolet Equinox before we went out for a test drive. When I explained that I needed specific options on the vehicle, he made sure that those options were available and never trivialized my needs and/or wants regarding vehicle options. When we finally discussed purchase price, he was willing to work with me and within my budget. He explained all the opportunities available to me regarding purchasing and financing. We came to a mutually beneficial purchase price. Adam was attentive and respectful throughout the entire process. He kept me informed every step of the way. I never felt pressured, manipulated or abandoned. Since I had driven to the dealership in a vehicle that I was not trading in, getting my new vehicle home that night could have been problematic for me. Adam took care of me on that issue as well. He followed me home in my new vehicle and had someone else follow him so they could drive back to the dealership together after delivering me safely to my home with my new vehicle. I cannot say enough good things about Sands Chevrolet, Adam Marinaccio and my vehicle purchasing experience. I have already told several of my friends and coworkers about this great experience and I will continue to do so. Thank you to Adam and Sands Chevrolet for being a customer friendly dealership. Overall I am 80 percent satisfied with my car buying experience at Sands Chevrolet Surprise. The 20 percent I am not satisfied with is I requested that Credit Union West be my lender numerous times whi experience at Sands Chevrolet Surprise. The 20 percent I am not satisfied with is I requested that Credit Union West be my lender numerous times while in my session with your finance officer Justin Larsen. I ended up with Bank of the West at 4.99 % APR. I told Justin that CU West offered me 4.49 % APR. I spoke to Frank and he said they would try to get my loan application back from Bank of the West. A day or so later I visited with Justin at the dealership and he said good news I got your loan application (request) back and got you 4.49 % APR. I asked if it was with CU West and he said yes. A few days later I get a letter from Bank of the West stating they are happy to be servicing my loan. If I ever buy another vehicle from Sands Chevrolet Surprise, your finance people will honor my request for a lender, or I WILL take my business elsewhere! On second thought, I will check with my Credit Union first to ensure that they will be the lender on any vehicle purchase I might make in the future... Sincerely, James S. More
