My husband is an active duty service member, a GM family first member, and have bought a car at Sands Chevy before. This is the 5th GM car in our family in the past year, we are no strangers to the car buying process. I went in to look at fleet trucks and ended up liking a 1500 LTZ. Doug our sales guy was fantastic. He was patient with us throughout the process. The problems did not start tell we went to finance. We sat for a while and waited to see a finance rep to do the finance paperwork. Through the whole process, our finance rep had the snarky attitude that made us feel like we owed them something. I understand that he may of been having a bad day, whatever but that's not how it works. We finished all the paperwork and were sent home that day with the truck. Due to it being a weekend, they weren't able to tell us which bank was actually going to carry our loan. Our finance rep promised us that he would call us Monday morning to finalize the rest of the finance information, and follow up on some of the small stuff that they still owed us (Floor mats, Second Key, and Owners Manual). 11 days passed with 9 attempts to contact them....nothing. Multiple messages left for the finance department; our rep and the finance manager. This is the most upsetting part. Costumer service was non-existent. A couple days into this I got the generic call from their customer service department about our purchase, explained our concerns to the representative that called me. She said she was going to personally give the message to our Finance rep...Can you believe it? Still no answer. With 3 days left until the estimated 'due' date of the loan that they gave us when we signed the papers, we definitely started to panic. Through a personal connection, we were able to get a hold of the CEO of Sands Chevy. Obviously when he got involved, our finance issue was fixed. Why should I have to resort to the highest official there is to get stuff done? Our original finance rep called me back 3 days after the GM of the dealership was able to answer my finance question... he was still a jerk. Acted like this whole call was a waste of his time. Days pass and again, we have another issue regarding the registration that they processed through the MVD. Spoke to them last Thursday night, when they promised me they would call me on Friday morning with an answer... I never got a call. I called Saturday morning and spoke to the internet manager who said he would have them call me back with an answer... no response. Called yesterday, was told they wouldn't be in till 11:00.. left a message with the receptionist... no response. So now again, it's been a week. I can not believe that this is how I was treated when purchasing a vehicle from Sands Chevy. I will never recommend anyone to use any services from them. More

excellent customer service I recently purchased a vehicle from this location and was assisted by David Gonzales he was very polite friendly and treated me with respect. Love my new Trax! I had leased a Malibu from Sands Chevrolet for two years. I returned it thinking I would lease another. Scott and Paul recommended I try the new Trax. I had leased a Malibu from Sands Chevrolet for two years. I returned it thinking I would lease another. Scott and Paul recommended I try the new Trax. It is a great model for me--a small SUV that handles like a car. I ended up buying the Trax and love to drive it. Scott is very considerate, knows his stuff but doesn't pressure the customer. More

I have two things to say about Sands Chevrolet. I want to preface this with saying that our buying experience was GREAT. Rich was awesome and went out of his way to get me into my Camaro quickly. (W I want to preface this with saying that our buying experience was GREAT. Rich was awesome and went out of his way to get me into my Camaro quickly. (We went to pick it up the day the ignition recall happened due to the key fob) We will probably buy from Sands because of Rich. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY ACROSS FOR RICH Now, for why we rated this so low. I had my first "PITSTOP" last month. It was HORRIBLE!! We sat in our car for almost 20 minutes before we were helped. (We were also given the wrong time according to the schedule) When we finally were helped they had NO CLUE why we were there. HELLO,,, You called me to scheduled this appointment... After waiting for almost two hours, my husband went to check how much longer it would be. He was told the car had been ready for a while, but they didn't know who the car belonged to. I HAVE A VERY YELLOW CAMARO,, not that hard to find out who we were. They did not put the correct amount of oil, (my husband is so leery about the oil change he is re-doing it,,, needed or not) they did not reset anything in the computer so my car in now telling me I need to have it serviced. We were told that the car would be filled up,, when that was not done ,, I insisted,,( we live out of state and drove 350 miles for this "free service')The wash job was so bad,, I had to re-wash it. The vacuuming job was just as bad.. nominal job was done on the detailing of the interior.. My husband will do our "PIT STOPS" from not on. Thank you Rich for the BEST part of buying my Camaro :) More
Amazing Rich was awesome. He was very helpful I orginally started looking for a car in May and Rich would follow up with me and fianlly I set me appointment a Rich was awesome. I showed up and he verified my inofmation and we went to look around at cars. Rich was very patient and he even took me over to the Kia side of Sands to show me those cars as well. The whole process took about 3 and half hours and I got the car I wanted. Thanks again Rich and thanks Caleb for making the financing part go quickly. More
