If I could give a 0 rating I would. This was the worst car buying experience we have ever had. My husband found the car we wished to purchase through True Car. A salesman from Sands co This was the worst car buying experience we have ever had. My husband found the car we wished to purchase through True Car. A salesman from Sands contacted us and said he had what we were looking for. After several emails back and forth we came in to basically look at the vehicle and sign paperwork. When we arrived the vehicle that supposedly had 6 miles on it had a dealer license plate with 1900 miles. When we said we didn't want the vehicle he said he could find us another. He brought out a second vehicle with actually even more miles on it but said he could offer us a greater discount. When he brought the vehicle out it reeked of cigarette smoke which he didn't mention until I got into the car and the smell was horrible. He claimed there was a process in which the smell could be removed. We decided to purchase the vehicle based on this promise. A few days later I brought the vehicle back in. They kept it overnight and when I picked it up it still smelled. Mind you every time I got in the car I got a headache the smell was so bad. We called and let them know. Turns out they really didn't do the actual process which involved sealing up the vehicle for 3-4 hours but tried to do an "easy" fix. Again I had to take time out of my day to bring the car in for this process. Again they had the vehicle overnight. When I picked up the car it still smelled but figured it might take a few days for the cigarette smell to dissipate. I waited a couple of weeks but no, still smelled horrible. After a third time it was finally better. Fact is that instead of being excited about my new car with a new car smell, I had a new car that gave me a headache every time I got in it. I sent a letter to the manager of sales Shawn Disney. After several days, no response so I emailed him again and asked if he got it. He said he did but that it was being forwarded to "upper management". After a couple of weeks, yet no response so I sent another email asking for names and emails of "upper management". It has been weeks since that email and never received a response. I guess since you already made the sale my opinion doesn't seem to matter. One of the worse customer service experiences we have encountered. More
Buyer Beware I went in based on internet pricing and on true car pricing, the old bait and switch fast talking salesmen came into effect. When we began talking de I went in based on internet pricing and on true car pricing, the old bait and switch fast talking salesmen came into effect. When we began talking deals we started with the same number $28,800. after I signed the contract it wasn't even close. The number started at 30K and most of the rebates I believed were used were gone, when I called them on it( granted I had already signed the contract), the attitude was "too bad, so sad" you signed the contract. I always go over the numbers, but for what ever reason, this time I did not - my mistake, lesson learned. However, when I purchased the car I had a lease I was turning in. It was a 2014 GMC Terrain. The terms of the lease had been met, I just had to turn it in. The salesman asked me about any paperwork I had for the car. I told him I didn't have anything , Since everything is online I never keep that kind of stuff around. I did give him a snapshot of my account through which I make the payment. it showed the Amt, the account number and type of car. The contract is signed I turned in the car and I am on my way. Apparently the snap shot was not good enough, about three weeks later, I started getting harassing phone calls and texts from various people threating me that my payment will go up, I won't get my license plates on time if I don't give them a copy of the leaset. I had told them who the contract was through and where I had got the vehicle (a local dealer). I had also contacted the leasing company and they gave me the number for their "Dealership Services Center". The dealership can call that number and get the information they needed. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, and the salesman isn't going to get his $500 for commission it becomes a big deal. However, they could care less about screwing me out of $4000. My legal obligation was fulfilled when I signed the contract. Contract Law 101... offer and acceptance. I did everything I could at the time of signing the contract. you were made aware of everything I had for the car. And now I am being threatened that my payment will go up and I won't get my plates on time. WOW... Really??? More

Dont do business with this company Your service department told me i needed a repair costing over $3000 for a new timing chain because 1-2 of the teeth were broken. Turns out this truck Your service department told me i needed a repair costing over $3000 for a new timing chain because 1-2 of the teeth were broken. Turns out this trucks timing chain doesnt have teeth. Took for second opinion turns out it was a shprted out wire harness that caused the same error code. I would never do business with your company. I plan on letting as many people as possible know your company tried to take advantage and lie to me. More

When it came time to pay the bill, they said they applied another coupon and still charged $35. It doesn't cost $85 for an oil change. After the car got home and I found out about the charge, I went back to get a full refund. It appears they were trying to take advantage of a young adult who isn't familiar with the games auto dealers play! I will be sure to teach him better before he goes to buy a vehicle from an auto dealer so he knows the games auto dealers play on inexperienced individuals. The women behind the billing counter were the ones that over changed. When discussed with Michael Jajou over the phone, he was very rude. Did not have a problem with Robert Wolf. More
