We recently purchased a 2013 Tacoma at Larry Miller. From the quote request, through signing the paperwork, the entire staff was outstanding. There was no pressure, no hard sale, no runaround. Very unpleasant & humiliating experience with this dealership. Received a recall notice in the mail, called this dealer to see what is was about & getting it taken care of, while I was on the phone dealership. Received a recall notice in the mail, called this dealer to see what is was about & getting it taken care of, while I was on the phone with the service manager I asked about previous recalls & if they had been taken care, he said they had been. He pulled up a recall history on my vehicle, but didnt bother to mention that the current recall had already been taken care of previously, so he talked me into coming in. Pulled inside into the service reception area, got out of the car & stood there for a few minutes, I was standing across from the booth of the service manager I had made the appoinment with, he wasnt there. A young woman walked up to me, I handed her the recall notice. She said "what is this?, you want me to have this?" I said it was my recall notice, asked her "you're not a service writer?", I am she said. Who is your appoinment with? I gave her his name. She tracked him down finally. He wrote up the recall work order & told me it would take between 45 minutes & 2 hours. Two hours later the service manger came to tell me the car had been inspected & a couple of bolts replaced. Then came the bombshell, he also informed me I needed a new water pump & it would be close to $700 to replace it. I've had enough of this I thought, there was no dripping, coolant resevoir level was always showing full, front of engine looked clean., no over-heating probems. If that didnt take the cake, some miscreant came up to me while I was waiting to pick up my car & tried like crazy to solicit me for a "discounted water pump repair job" somewhere on the eastside of town. I've begun a theory that recalls & coupons in the mail from dealers are nothing more than devices to get you to bring your vehicle in so their service dept. can disect it for a maximum repair solicitation. More
My husband and I went into the dealership to see how well the seats fit me, as that was very important. Manny was able to find us a great deal on a nearly new Highlander. I went into the service dept for a simple oil change and tire rotate. 2010 Toyota Highlander, I was informed of services Toyota reccomends and what the technician found and what he suggested. I was confused so the advisor I worked with (Adrian) broke it down into lamens terms for me (I'm not mechanically inclined, lol). I read some other reviews here and also on Yelp so I figured I would try them out, I had previously been going to the former Karl Malone Toyota and never had service like I received at American, again by reading reviews I decided to go out of my way to try this service and now I will not go anywhere else! There's this idea that the car buying experience is scary and for the most part it is but Mr. Ruiz gave me renewed hope in was absolutely amazing!! This company does not respond to Better Business Bureau complaints about poor customer service in a reasonable amount of time. They lie and say they call the customer about a problem/open BBB case when the complaints about poor customer service in a reasonable amount of time. Be wary, if you ever have a problem, they will treat you like crap at the dealership and then ignore you when you seek outside assistance with getting your problem resolved, hoping you'll just go away. VERY unprofessional. Never had to deal with this when the dealership was owned by Karl Malone. More

Vehicle was not performing to usual standard, had vehicle towed in and Todd and his crew diagnosed & repaired within 2 days. The car is working great again and i couldn't be happier.
