Sanderson Ford "-0" minus zero stars if there was one!! If there were minus zero stars that is what i would give the Don Sanderson ford dealership because they dont deserve anything more. Most important is If there were minus zero stars that is what i would give the Don Sanderson ford dealership because they dont deserve anything more. Most important is you have to TRUST the dealership you are buying your vehicle from and not be LIED to by them.Really How do you buy a car from someone who just lied straight to your FACE !!! How do you TRUST them from there on. Well i was the sucker that trusted them after they LIED to me. Historically,im finding out now, they have done this to many people after stopping taking some time and looking at reveiews. They have a bad reputation for doing this to many of even their hometown Glendale residents!!!! Purchased a used vehicle from Sanderson Ford and was greeted by a nice fat lie walking right into their trap. Mike Miller was our sales person and lied to us saying our loan was denied by the bank that we bank at. Mike said our institution denied our loan when months later we find that Sanderson Ford pulled a "quickie" on us and never sent it over to them. Our bank did prove it to use that Sanderson never sent it over to them so we confronted Sanderson on their lie and now all xxxx "break Loose" Mark Powell(Finance) did admit they NEVER sent it over to my band and boy was i upset , keeping my cool, Mark could not fix or even answer my questions, i figured if your gonna LIE to me,at least stand behind it,,tempers no flare up and shouting matches start going on between us like children, well, to say the least he claimed it was out of his pay grade and passed it over to Tom Collins which he told me He said you signed you knew what you were doing,Tom Very Angerly said to me there are other ford dealers you could do your business with in im not the only dealer in your area, I wish wished you would go somewhere else to do your business, I agreed, and said yes, I will do Just That !!! and take my business to a different ford dealership. Tom raised his voice several times at me angrily, and talked over me several chances not giving me opportunity to speak verbally overpowering me. It was his way or NO WAY . He also claimed he had done everything possible to fix my situation but also says tells me that my request was unreasonable and unethical, More

Mike Gilbert listened to me and understood my needs. I've reached the point with mike that I can call him with my needs and he will call me back within hours with an answer. With my most recent purchase, After looking at the vehicle he'd selected for me, I went home. I called him later and said I wanted to buy. Mike called me a couple hours later. He had the financing approved and the vehicle detailed. It was a true, "sign and drive" experience. I am a customer for life! More
Horrible experience after giving them a second chance. I purchased a car from Samderson back in 2001 and was lied to by Andy Reese and said I would never go back. Well here we are in 2016 and I decided to I purchased a car from Samderson back in 2001 and was lied to by Andy Reese and said I would never go back. Well here we are in 2016 and I decided to give Sanderson a 2nd chance. I am from Yuma,AZ and bought a used 2014 Ford Focus threw Brandon Salts. Everything was done over the phone cause I wanted the car and the price wasn't bad. Well 4 days later I go up to sign the papers and look over the car. Showed Brandon some spots that weren't cleaned from the inside of the car from soda. After all he said the car was going to detailed and it wasn't. Well during the signing of the papers I questioned him on a warranty that I was being charged. He said when we go to finance it would be discussed in detail as to what it is about. Well we never went to finance cause he brought the papers in to be signed. He still never discussed or gave us anything on this "warranty" period. Well when we went out to look the car over a second time the car was still dirty and was being taken back a 2nd time to be cleaned. Being we had our 3 kids with us they were hungry. Well we left to go eat. When we came back Brandon Salts was gone after all that happened to be his last day working for Sanderson. Well I got the key from the receptionist and went to over look the car. It still wasn't clean and I didn't have time to wait a 3rd time so I left. When driving the car back to Yuma I noticed some issues that were missed during Sandersons pre-sale inspection. The car would jerk real bad when you would take off and the side molding on the windshield flew off. After contacting the service department and not getting my answers I took it to my local Ford dealership. They wouldn't touch it and told me to take it back to Sanderson. Well after Sanderson received my survey I received a call from John Pratt the sales manager asking what the issues were. I told him and he made a promise to re-detail the car and fill it with gas if and when I took it back. In the meantime he had someone from Yuma come out and glue that molding back on. After a few days of the car continuing to jerk on take off I went back into my ford dealer. Again they wouldn't help me because I didn't have any infomation on the warranty I was sold. So I contact John Pratt who put me in contact with Hector Estay who send me a picture of the warranty pamphlet with a phone number. So I call Hector Estay who speaks with his supervisor and tells me to bring the car into Sanderson and they will fix it. So that Saturday I drive 3 hrs to Sanderson. I get a rental from Andy Resse and I leave. That Friday I still haven't heard anything about my car and I get pulled over driving the loner cat from Sanderson. The registration is expired by 3 weeks. I call Andy Resse and he informs me that I will have to deal with it cause they won't renew the registration or get me a 3 day registration. Well because Sanderson didn't call me until Friday to tell me my car was done I have to work and can't pick my car up until the following week. Well that weekend was a nightmare with the loner. The brake light kept coming on and the car wouldn't go anywhere. Wouldn't have been so bad if I wasn't in traffic. Well I get the car moved off the road and park it. The next day I call Sanderson and now it's my problem to find a dealership and tow company to come tow the car. Small problem cause the car isn't registered to me so roadside assistance won't tow it. Well after disconnecting the battery the car is able to drive with the brake light on and brake system alert light on. Well Monday Mr. Pratt calls and informs me he is going to find someone to drive my car to Yuma and then figure out a solution with there car. I suggest to him they load my car on a flat bed tow truck and bring my car and pick there's up. Well that doesn't happen. Tuesday I just drive there car up to them and pull into service to get my car and it it's there. Well John Pratt calls me and says my car is in the front. Well I go to pick my car up and it's dirty. Well understandable cause it had rained that morning but still take it to the back and run it thru the car wash. Nope instead I just move my stuff over and thank them and leave. Well driving home I notice the inside of the car is dirty and there is soda spilled on a seat and the side of the center council and food trash in my car. Well I know it wasn't me cause I don't drink soda. To top it off the molding they fixed came off 2 hrs later on the freeway. Well I sent John Pratt a message but never heard back from him. All he was worried about was getting a good review from me. Well for the 2nd straight time he got a bad one. After getting back to Yuma I washed my car to notice scratches all over the doors on the passanger side and scuff marks on the hood. Then 4 days later the car started jerking again. Still haven't heard back from the service department or Sanderson. Will never recommend or go back to Don Sanderson Ford!!!! John Pratt is a liar. More
Horrible service and rude management. My experience at Sanderson Ford was extremely rude and unprofessional. I went there ready to purchase a car outright. No financing, no credit, nothing My experience at Sanderson Ford was extremely rude and unprofessional. I went there ready to purchase a car outright. No financing, no credit, nothing tricky, I get the car they get my money. The particular car was a model I've been looking at for weeks and have decided upon previous to going down there. So that means no browsing, no test driving different cars, no run around. Pretty much a dream come true for a place wanting to sell a vehicle. Unfortunately I guess my money must be no good to them. When I showed up I was greeted by a salesman named Robert Collins he was friendly and we talked for maybe 5 minutes. He said that he wouldn't be in a position to answer some of my questions and a manager would be the better person for me to talk to. He brought me inside to speak to a manager named Andy Reece. He was unhelpful and rude from the very beginning. I was not invited to sit down so we could discuss the deal or reach a agreement. Usually your welcomed in and made to feel very comfortable. So I was surprised by the entire demeanor he gave. He clearly made the assumption that my ability to purchase the car outright in the manner I intended was something that wouldn't be possible for me, and pretty much didn't want to be bothered with me. He told me that the price I had been told was what he offered and to take it or leave it. Ive been to many dealership's and never had one so uninviting and not interested in making a sale as this one. I'm sure he may not be accustomed to someone of my appearance to be able to walk in to a dealership and purchase a car outright. But the mistake was his and they just lost one of the most cut and dry purchases they could have possibly made. And I highly recommend if your looking to spend your hard earned money on a vehicle go to a dealership that appreciates your business and appreciates the value of customer service. Cause you will not find that at Sanderson Ford. More

Return customer for a reason On 08-12-15 I went to a few local dealerships to buy a new F150 4x4 Lariat SuperCrew. I initially went to Sanderson Ford because I bought a 2011 Musta On 08-12-15 I went to a few local dealerships to buy a new F150 4x4 Lariat SuperCrew. I initially went to Sanderson Ford because I bought a 2011 Mustang GT from them 4 years ago and it was a very hassle free and pleasant experience. I spoke with my old sales person Florin and his manager John. I told them the deal I was looking for, both on the vehicle I was purchasing and my trade, and they worked some numbers up. From doing my research, the numbers were very fair, and I think I was a little unrealistic on what I was hoping to get for my vehicle. I left that night and went home to sleep on the deal and to do a bit more research. When I got home, I looked at inventory of a few dealers nearby. Surprise Ford had a well optioned 4x4 truck with an MSRP of $53,700 listed for $46,768 after $1500 in Ford rebates and $5432 in a discount from them. I called the dealership and asked them if they had the vehicle in stock and the sales man, Tibor, stated he did. I asked them if that was indeed the price on the truck and he assured me it was. I went to the dealership which was 25 miles away, and upon my arrival I gave them the numbers that Sanderson gave me on my vehicle. I also told them if they can’t come close to the numbers to just let me know so I don’t waste anyone’s time. After spending an hour and a half there, they came back, not only not honoring the price they have listed on their own website, but also adding $2699 in add ons, which included a $350 drop in bed liner, tint, door edge guards (which are included on every new F150 by Ford free of charge by the way), wheels locks, and pin stripes. Their out the door price on the truck was $58,800. I could not stop laughing. I asked them to explain to me how they got to those numbers and they could not. I told them that their TrueCar price is actually even lower than what is on their website and they still could not explain how they got to that price. They also do not disclose they add $2700 in add ons on TrueCar by the way. I then attempted to use basic math to show them that if they just honored their price own price they have advertised, they would actually be at just over $54000, even with their addons, which I did not want since they are charging for items that are offered by Ford for free and are included in the price of the truck, at which time the sales manager stated he can take $2000 off. I told him that would put him at $56,800, and he is still not honoring the price on the truck they advertised. At this point, he is either a liar or is not able to comprehend basic math, as he was not able to acknowledge the numbers from their own website which I calculated in front of him, so I decided to leave. It was a disappointment to actually visit a dealer that falls into a typical dealer stereotype in this day and age. The next day, I went back to Sanderson Ford and spoke with my salesman (Florin) again. He told me they are able to do $500 better on the truck, and I even ended up getting a better optioned truck for almost the same price, while paying just over $52000 out the door (Lariat 4x4 supercrew, twin panel moon roof, nav, 20” wheels, tailgate step, 36 gallon tank, max trailer tow package, tint, spray in bed liner). They never did the song and dance of “let me go talk to my manager” and “sign here” or “tell me where you want to be”. It was refreshing to be back amongst honest people, and I had my truck in my possession in less than 40 minutes. This recent experience mirrors my first experience in 2011 when I was buying my Mustang, except I was dealing with Peoria Ford (same owners as Surprise Ford, so the behavior does not surprise me). It was lies and deception and they would not honor their own prices online. At that time Flroin and John, at Sanderson Ford, were open, honest and forthcoming with everything, and that is why I bought from them the first time. Next time I’m looking at a Ford product, Sanderson Ford will be the only place I will go. Also, their GM, Tom Collins, is also a very nice guy that is honest and upfront about everything. There were no surprises from start to finish, and I strongly urge anyone shopping for a new Ford vehicle to always to go Sanderson First, as the other dealers will do nothing but lie and try to pull a fast one, especially Peoria and Surprise Ford. Strange lack of positives 5/4/15 I am on DealerRater.com to lodge multiple legit and separate occasion complaints on the next door Chevy dealership of Sanderson's. I thought t 5/4/15 I am on DealerRater.com to lodge multiple legit and separate occasion complaints on the next door Chevy dealership of Sanderson's. I thought to check here to see how Sanderson's rating is doing. I am shocked that there is a lack of positive remarks. Is it reasonable to say that people, as a norm, do not take the extra effort to write positive things? I believe this is the case here. So count the negatives instead and compare that to their neighbor. I wonder how they got over 1900 positives and 47 negatives. I didn't know there were that many positive raters that swarm a particular dealership. I am not, nor related, to any employee. It's just that I have purchased my Taurus from here several years ago and had nothing but nice things happen, like good bodywork and a salesman who sent me postcard recipes a couple of times a year for several years! It just happens that my last two cars were purchased at a Chevrolet dealership due to special promotions. I have visited a few months ago to this Ford dealership on a whim. I wasn't prepared nor dressed nicely. Shorts and T-shirt and pop belly. Guillermo Garcia greeted me and assured me that my clothes do not dictate service level. I spent about 30 mins with him and we went from the C-Max to upgrade to Fiesta. Very impressionable vehicle. My intent was to just see the replacement for the Prius (the C-Max). I still intend to look further into it for my next vehicle. By keeping Mr. Garcia business card tells you I intend to keep my contacts of nice people. If there are truly positive writers for the fun of it, Sanderson Ford certainly deserves it. I would rate pricing a 5 too but I didn't pay attention to that at that time. More
Referral bonus is a joke. I just bought my mustang from dealership along with a friend of mine who I sent there when I had my 2013. There referral bonus is a joke . There excu I just bought my mustang from dealership along with a friend of mine who I sent there when I had my 2013. There referral bonus is a joke . There excuse is because they have been dealing with my friend for awhile. How do they think he happened to go to Sanderson. It will be my last car from this place and any service will go elsewhere. Oh. And did I mention they have to fix my brakes on a brand new car already. Very disappointed in this dealer because I WAS a repeat customer. The salesman Jason was good but everyone else needs to take a lesson on how to treat customers if they want to see them again. More
