All automobile companies now call wholesalers and ask them how much they will offer the dealership for your trade in. That is how the last two dealers I have questioned about my car's value appraised my vehicle. This practice would seem to rely solely on the credibility and honesty of the wholesaler. It is human nature to offer what is best for yourself not the customer. The customer has no way to verify what the wholesaler is offering. This is pretty ambiguous. More

We inquired about a used car on the Jacksonville lot, and by lunchtime that day, the car was in Swansboro f Marty, Greg, and Kevin were VERY helpful! We inquired about a used car on the Jacksonville lot, and by lunchtime that day, the car was in Swansboro for us to see. Unfortunately, we could not get there before the dealership closed, so the car was made available to us after hours to check out. There was absolutely no pressure to look at anything else or buy anything we were not interested in. When returned on Monday to test drive the car, Marty had the keys ready for us. We briefly discussed numbers, and we were able to secure an excellent deal. Kevin took extra time to explain our warranty options and answered our questions thoroughly. The following day I stopped by my insurance provider to inform them that I had bought a new vehicle to find out that before I was able to get there, Marty had already called them with the information! Where I come from, dealing with insurance companies is the sole responsibility of the driver so this was an added, pleasant surprise! More
