Horrible Service Department Experience Would not recommend the Service Department at San Tan Ford. Came in today to get some warranty work done and was charged $99.95 for NOTHING! Service person Eric told us that he would check on our warranty status and get back to us and evidently that costs $99. San Tan Ford lived up to all of the horrible car lot stereotypes today. He is a little scatter-brained when he gets under a lot of pressure but he was great to deal with. More
Many parts to review 1. Salesman, Larry Garver, good guy good salesman, very high rating. 2. Inventory, place is huge with lots of inventory. Takes time but just about 1. Not sure why they drop salesman and throw heavy closer at you right out the gate. Not bad, pleasant but watch numbers close, not sure but suspect possiblebpencil whipping if not careful. 4.. finance. But was ok but hard sale on warranty. Tells you Ford factory warranty ok, but be careful if your fault Ford will nail you for 100% of cost. Then there was a $3500 down payment at end. Understand but never mentioned before. Then the Ford 4.9% interest rate you have to use because of all discounts they give you. My bank was 3.8% but if I use them have to give back discounts? Did not have a warm fuzzy feeling when I left. 5. Jim (Harris I think), delivery service. One of best part of process. Smart pleasant, extremely knowledgeable. Shows you and explains every button, service available. My salesman and delivery service were very good. In between reminded me of some old dealerships I use to work in. Both certain I would recommend friends to visit store. However, I am fairly happy. Truck is 95% exactly I wanted. Will see how service works when time to use them. More
