There is a law against false advertising A used Cadillac was on the website. It was a 2013 premium going for just under $18k. The mileage was 22,600 with a clean Carfax. Went to see it and it wasn't quite what I was looking for at the time. Texted back and forth with the internet sales manager, Alejandro Lopez. I Wanted to get a test drive. Thought i might be getting put off with it not being available right away. Was following the post on their website to see if they sold it. 4 days passed while i waited to here when the Recondition was completed. I found the advertised price had gone up by $2k I asked why this had happenend and he text back that the pictures and prices were a mistake by the service they use. My text back was to say "there is a law against false advertising and that i could mke them honor the price if I chose to. Told him "I'm going to pass on your car." Didnt hear back. I mean what is the correct response. When they're wrong they're wrong. Of course the text thread has been deleted now by the Internet Manager but not by me. The disclaimer that the post below the picture of the car is as follows. It doesnt read" "Oh bythe way we may raise the posted sales price by 2000 dollars while you are considering a purchase.
