The dealership did a classic bait and switch pricing on me. I found a good deal online and spoke to Alex, a sales representative on 3 identical trucks. 2 days later I had to call him back just to get t me. They came back with a monthly payment but wouldn't give much more information until I came in from Austin. They finally gave me the price of the truck which was 20% higher than the advertised price and a different VIN. Alex said it was a "customer appreciation package". I asked that it was removed and they honor the advertised price and was told they couldn't do that. I asked for the original VIN truck and was told that it would be the same price. I then asked if they had a truck at the price advertised and was told no. The excuse was "well, everyone adds this stuff on too, so they are all this price". Even if that's the case, I would rather deal with someone who is upfront about pricing instead of trying to slip it into a monthly payment. This was the definition of a slimy dealership and sales staff. More
