My husband moved from CT and took his 2008 Ford F150 to this dealership in 2014. It was our second F150 and it had a lot of miles, we purchased a new F150 in 2018 when he crashed the 2008 ford with over 40 this dealership in 2014. It was our second F150 and it had a lot of miles, we purchased a new F150 in 2018 when he crashed the 2008 ford with over 400k miles on it. His job puts about 80k miles on his truck a year and we buy our trucks new and service it ONLY at the Ford dealership. We got a 2019 Ford F150 end of 2018, was servicing it at Sam Pack, Lewisville Ford with advisor Zac (I heard he is now fired, probably moved on to Plano Ford), had 215k Miles on it, told we need to replace engine after doing about $6k in work on transmission and other maintenance in 2021. We were never prioritized for a loaner, just treated like we had no value but worst of all, the advice from the technician and advisor we believe was the reason we need to now change the engine (long block). Over past months we had work done there, defective parts were installed, we paid for genuine Ford parts, we couldn't even get 'squeezed' in to do warranty replacement, and Zac told my husband he can keep driving his truck in interim even with check engine light coming on. Long story short, we ended up taking it to Bill Utter Ford, they billed us a $13,423 estimate, we had to fight for a discount, on that they only took $500 off. We reported incident to Sam Pack Lewisville GM, they best they did was supposedly, fired Zac, we were left cleaning up the bill. Really disgusted with these dealerships in Dallas Texas now. We want to purchase American but we don't feel our business is valued., Corporate Ford is taking everyday American's for granted who have to work hard to maintain their vehicles while they bask in corporate profits. It's sickening to see what's happening to America 'Customer is King' motto, no decency in people anymore. I get treated better at my Toyota dealership. More

More

I dropped my truck off at Five Star Ford Lewisville 8/21 after my trucks check engine light came on while driving on 121. Truck wouldn’t move or start so I had it towed in for service. I bought the truck from Five Star Ford Lewisville as a certified pre owned truck and had 140 miles left on my powertrain warranty. I patiently waited as one week became one month, then two until I was told to come pick up my truck that it was ready but for some reason the check engine is still on “but don’t worry everything is fine”. The audacity for any dealership to say that to a customer is beyond frightening. Because of the simple fact that if the truck was fixed, it wouldn’t have a check engine light on and also because my warranty would be out in a matter of days I told them my truck isn’t fixed and is even telling them it’s still messed up. Couple days later I get a call that it’s just a spark plug issue and they assured me while it’s not covered, once that’s done the check engine light would go away. At this point Im starting to realize I’m getting played by the dealership to not have to fix my truck, let warranty run out and then be told “sorry can’t help ya”. Told them I’d pay for the spark plugs and labor and to authorize the work so check engine light goes away. I don’t hear from them for another 2 months. Spark plugs take an hour at worst. Finally get the call end of December that my truck is ready for pick up and check engine light is gone, ended up being “another part” and they had it replaced. Picked up the truck yesterday and my check engine light is back on and truck is sputtering like it’s all kinds of messed up still. Pictures attached to show when I dropped off truck, picked up and check engine light today. I can’t help but feel like they knew exactly what they were doing and crossed their fingers that check engine light didn’t come on until a couple days later. Beyond disappointed with the experience I’ve had thus far to say the least and can’t believe a large dealership would put customers in this position. I can’t begin to imagine how many times they’ve done this same thing and had the customers come back a couple miles over warranty only to tell them kick rocks. More
