Sam Pack's Five Star Ford is located at I-35E and Crosby Road in Carrollton,Texas. The dealership comprises more than 16 acres and employs approximately 200 local sales, service and administrative personnel. Sam Pack purchased the dealership in 1980 and the dealership has shown significant growth each and every year since.
These are some of over 100 other corporate awards, recognitions, honors and community service accolades that Five Star Ford has won since Sam Pack has taken charge of the dealership.
Mr. Pack, Time Magazine's "Quality Dealer of the Year" for his exceptionally high customer satisfaction standards, also earned Ford's "Distinguished Achievement Award" which is the highest Ford Division honor. The Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce made Mr. Pack Citizen Of The Year and, more recently, The Carrollton / Farmers Branch Rotary Club recognized Mr. Pack as their Man of the Year.
Mr. Pack's Dealership has been listed by Auto Age Magazine as one of the leading dealerships in the United States. This was established by being in the Top 100 Club which comprises the top 100 Ford dealers Nationally out of approximately 4,600, on numerous occasions.

Best Car Buying Experience Ever I usually buy a new car every year, sometimes 2. I was ready to get one, a new ford mustang. I walked into this dealership and this young man greete I usually buy a new car every year, sometimes 2. I was ready to get one, a new ford mustang. I walked into this dealership and this young man greeted me at the door. Was very friendly and polite right from the start. I was there to speak to another salesman but found out he was off for the day. But I immediately was impressed with this young man from the minute I arrived. To make a long story short he took great care of me and my needs. I picked out the mustang I wanted, bought it and he even delivered it to my house and drove my trade back to the dealership. Was the best car experience buying trip I've ever had! Thanks and keep up the good work!! More

Poor repairs/communication Our 2016 Explorer with 30,000 broke down and we had it towed to the closest Ford dealer which was Five Star in Carrollton. We had it towed on a Frida Our 2016 Explorer with 30,000 broke down and we had it towed to the closest Ford dealer which was Five Star in Carrollton. We had it towed on a Friday night after service had closed they called Saturday saying the transmission had an internal failure and a rebuilt one would be needed at no charge. No loaner or rental was provided. I gave the authorization to repair and after 2.5 weeks of not hearing from them I drove to Five Star and was told the transmission just arrived we will have it ready Friday. Friday evening I called to check on it was told it would be ready Monday. They finally called Monday afternoon and I was told it would be Tuesday. Tuesday evening they called and said it would be ready Wednesday they thought they could use a one time use bolt a 2nd time and had to order the new bolts. Wednesday it was finally ready 3.5 weeks later it was returned dirty than I dropped it off and had replaced items I told them not to. Driving it home Wednesday the transmission went out . I took it to another dealer. They test drove it and said they had to remove the transmission the first 3 gears were slipping and clutches had to be replaced in a rebuilt transmission less than 1 week old. I was provided a rental since they would keep my car for more than 2 days by Autonation Ford. They repaired the car like new and called me everyday to let me know the status. I would not trust Five Star Ford change a light bulb. DO NOT GO TO FIVE STAR FORD. More

Why can't all car buying experiences be this easy? Hunter was a total professional. He was informative and helpful, but not pushy. He guided us through our test drive, answered our questions, and worked with us on price quickly (no 30 minute 'conversations with the sales manager!). We agreed on a fair price and closed the deal within 45 minutes of walking in the dealership. Really, really great experience. Bill was our initial contact over the phone, and I appreciated that Bill met us when we showed up and handed us over to Hunter (because Bill was with another customer). Bill had already talked to Hunter about the car we were interested in and Hunter had located it before our arrival (no waiting). When we got to finance/signing the deal, Michael was great too - efficient and friendly. We looked at several dealerships today, and Five Star really stood out. I felt like you were respectful of our time and really working to make it a good experience. Thanks! More

Nothing but the best. I normally loath dealerships. I feel like I’m constantly surrounded by sharks and I have a small cut bleeding into the water. Dignity, respect, and integrity are how these two men conduct their business on a daily basis.
