I searched for my car on the Intranet which brought me to a car at Salinas Honda. Once I contacted the dealership by email Jessica followed up with me right away and worked with my father who lived nearer to the dealership, to let him view the car for me. From that point on everything went smoothly from communications, to having paperwork over-nighted, to pick-up arrangements. Once I got to the dealership Bob was calm and friendly and made me feel relaxed. There was some cleaner or something on the handles of the car. He had it cleaned before I left. He explained everything thoroughly to me before I left and said to call if I needed anything. Chris processed the final paperwork with me and was super friendly. I was very weary of used car shopping and I hate getting stalked by the salesman at used car lots. He was very reassuring that his dealership would treat me right and it would be an easy experience. He was right. When I came in the next day, I found the exact car that I was looking at on-line. Bob Roadman took me on a test drive and answered all of my questions. I have to say that it didn't feel that I was hanging out with a car salesman. Bob was very genuine, professional and extremely easy to deal with. After the test drive Bob got the paperwork started and I drove my car home about an hour later. I don't know what the finance guys name was but he was just as impressive as the rest of the staff. My credit isn't great but he worked hard to get me the best possible deal on the car. As long as I live in this area, I will never buy a car from anyone other than McKenney Salinas. More

After a great deal of research, I decided to trade my SUV in for a Honda Accord. I was able to narrow my search to six cars that had all the features and amneities I wanted. I visited McKenney-Salinas Hond in for a Honda Accord. I was able to narrow my search to six cars that had all the features and amneities I wanted. I visited McKenney-Salinas Honda in Gastonia to look at 2010 Honda Accord. They had not had the car very long (it was still in the prep area) but were happy to let me take a test drive. Andrew Caldwell was the dealer who worked with me. He was very kind and extremely laid-back. During the test drive, he remained chatty but was never pushy about the car (in fact, I don't think our conversation was car related). Although this car was the first one I looked at, I decided to purchase it. McKenney-Salinas made me a very fair offer on my trade-in. Financing was a breeze. I had already been pre-approved by my bank at a very low interest rate, which they were able to beat! There was no pressure from Chris to buy an extended warranty (the car I purchased in Honda Certified). The Accord I purchased was priced slightly below KBB and was in great condition (despite not having quite completed the Honda Certification process). I was not able to immediately take my car home since it was still being certified and needed very slight body work. Andrew helped me in getting the windows tinted and even drove it, once it was ready, from Gastonia to my home in Boiling Springs, South Carolina. He was very, very pleasant to work with and very friendly. The entire experience was very easy and at no time did anyone pressure me or try to talk me into buying. Although it sounds cheesy, I felt like I was in the driver's seat during the entire transaction. I would absolutely purchase another vehicle through this dealership and would not hesitate to recommend this dealership and, particularly Andrew, to friends. More
