I stop using SALEM Ford for service about 2 years ago after using them for over 25 years going back to Newman Ford days. I booked an appointment last week and was taken in the following day. My vehicle received it’s service and was notified immediately upon completion. It was nice when picking up my vehicle to have the people on the counter look up at me with a smile and explain what was done. Very friendly and professional atmosphere that made me feel like a customer again. Can’t say how nice it was to be back at the old Salem Ford. Thank you very much. More

Service Advisor was great, but 1 hour for an oil change when I was the only customer is ridiculous! A Train wreck! :-( 1. Didn't have my spare key at time of sale. Took them 6 weeks to get one and only after I was persistent on requesting it. 2. After 77 miles the 1. Made an appointment using Ford Pass which was mentioned several times during my purchase only to be told when I arrived that I had no appointment, even though I had a confirmation, because the 2 systems don't talk. Then I was told that there was no one working who was qualified to run the diagnostics needed(A Saturday???). Had to reschedule. Service agent stated that this happens all the time - not something you tell a customer. He seemed disgruntled and not very customer focused. 4. Go in for rescheduled appointment to run diagnostics on malfunctioning cameras and was told they would need the truck all day. I got a ride in and left my truck first thing in the morning. I asked them to insure my vehicle got washed as well because there was a "Winter Special" running. I mentioned about my spare key and asked if he could assist me in obtaining it. He stated I should go thru my salesperson. I waited for the sales person and was told...the snow is starting to melt they would most likely find it soon. I received a call that afternoon,(7 1/2 hours later), and was told that they don't have enough time to complete the work and I now need to schedule a third appointment. I asked if the truck had been washed and it had not! I now wait for that to be completed and a follow-up call that my truck is ready. I called for an Uber back to the dealership because the service person never informed me that they had a shuttle driver. When I arrive the service agent is telling me he was going to have to fight with SCA Performance to cover the cost because they messed up all the cameras installing the "lift kit". Not my problem to solve and didn't need to hear his rant. This guy is never in a good mood. 5. 1/22/20 - Go in for third appointment now. Get a ride home and schedule for a pick-up after the work is completed as well. During this visit I inquire about my key again and find that my salesperson has quit. I get a call that my truck is ready. I remind them that I need a ride. I'm told that the shuttle driver quit after he dropped me off in the morning. 1 hour later they never figure out how to come get me and I need to call for an Uber! All I keep hearing about when I pay is this survey. Give me a good score because I did all that I could -- No you did not -- what you did was the bare minimum. 6. You tell me how I am suppose to feel????????? I had a Ford before and went to Nissan only because of the size. I was thrilled when the Ranger made a comeback and returned to Ford because of the quality and service I was provided previously. I Love my truck but have little faith in this dealership. I am stuck now because you don't have many locations close to me to visit for the care of my vehicle. More

Second Time Explorer Buyer Satisfied with maintenance service and follow through. I had unique problems with each car, both of which were eventually diagnosed and recognized. Software update fixed problem on the first car and I am awaiting a Ford Engineering update on the 2020 that I drive now. More
