Worked on my car never did a test drive we got the car back and almost got in an accident. I purchased 2020 Expedition on Thursday, October 15th. I was at the dealership for almost 4 hours. The first 2 hours were spent test driving the vehicle and going over its features. The salesman also demons was at the dealership for almost 4 hours. The first 2 hours were spent test driving the vehicle and going over its features. The salesman also demonstrated the self parking feature. The next 2 hours were spent waiting for the financial representative so I could sign papers. I was told there was someone ahead of me. When they finally left, I was told it would be just a few minutes more. Then I saw a woman and child come of the office and was told, that’s his mom. Why was he visiting with his mom knowing I was waiting? At 8:15pm when I was ready to go, he comes out and tells me the system was down and could I come back in the morning to sign everything. Why didn’t that get suggested in the first place? It would have saved me 2 hours. I went back at 10am Friday morning to sign all of the paperwork. As I started to review before signing I realized the wrong city, state and zip code was on every document. They had a copy of my license with the correct address. But apparently it wasn’t checked. More time spent waiting for the document and forms to be reprinted. Now, on Thursday night I was told that having the dealership run to the registry would take about a week. When I called to check on the status I was told that they didn’t know when the registration would be ready. I asked the sales manager why I was lied to about the timing? He didn’t have an answer. I was excited about picking up my new vehicle this week, but now I really don’t know when I will be able to pick it up. More
