Brought my truck in to have the windshield wipers looked at as they weren’t working properly. They took the truck in and told me that they both needed to be replaced. I was also told that the parts would be at as they weren’t working properly. They took the truck in and told me that they both needed to be replaced. I was also told that the parts would be expedited due to it being a safety issue. Three weeks have gone by and nothing. Now if we were in the middle of summer it would not be an issue but that is not the case. There are days that I can not drive due to the weather and not having wipers. I called and spoke with a sales manager who must have thought I saw just some dumb girl, when I asked why he couldn’t take the parts off a truck new or used and put it on mine so that I could drive and when the parts came in they could put it on the truck they took it off of, I was told for legal reasons that could not be done. I work in the industry so this is not true and I don’t appreciate being lied to. Then the “service director” called me and told me that he would not take a car off the lot for me to have wipers. Just so I understand correctly it’s ok for me to drive around with all my safety features cause god forbid you are not able to sell a truck for a few weeks. The customer service lacks bed side manner and some training could be used. I was upset with the guy so instead of cursing him out or saying something out of anger, I hung up on him and he must have had something to prove cause 10 minutes later he called me back and left me a message that said “Hey Sarah this is XXXX over at Salem Ford again if you had hung up on me I was trying to resolve your concern and let you know that we can't do that and I think you said that you were coming down here there is actually no need for you to come down here we don't want your business we don't need the problems um you can bring your vehicle back to where you purchased it to try and get the part from them or any other dealership but we are all set if you need to call me back you can call me it is 603-898-9766 and you can ask for me I am XXXX and I am the service Director here in the one who you need help from thank you…” Not sure when talking to customers like this is ok. I will NEVER do business with them and I won’t be referring anyone to them. More

I had been waiting over 2 months for my part to come in. I was in for my annual oil change, tire rotation and inspection. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told that they had the part that i had been I was in for my annual oil change, tire rotation and inspection. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told that they had the part that i had been waiting for and were installing it. I am no longer scared to drive my car with the transmission warning lights flashing and going 20 mph. Everyone was so kind and nice. More

First off I would advise anyone who purchases a vehicle at Salem Ford to have all of their maint. done there also. The service dept. is very, very good. Had all services done there since I bought my new at Salem Ford to have all of their maint. done there also. The service dept. is very, very good. Had all services done there since I bought my new 2019 Edge and every visit left me with confidence that service performed was done properly, on time and at a reasonable cost. It's important for anyone to understand that buying a car is one thing but having it serviced is quite another. The service dept in my opinion is the most important factor in deciding where to buy your next car/truck. These are the real PRO's who you will deal with way more often than a salesperson. They are the ones who really know what their doing when it comes to routine maint. to solving problems should they come up. They are the ones who have to live with the problems and unhappy customers when things go wrong. At Salem Ford you will be dealing with these Pro's. I just had an oil change and State Insp. done a few days ago and the Service Writer I dealt with was at he top of his game. His name was Matthew Smith and I was quite surprised at his level of auto knowledge and professionalism. As long as Matthew or others like him can be found at Salem Ford you will find me there also. I'll be looking to trade soon. I'll give you three guesses where it will be. The first two don't count.!!!!! More
