I’ve been using VW for many years nows. The work always eventually gets done, but there always seems to be some issue. This recent visit was the second time I’ve left my car there overn The work always eventually gets done, but there always seems to be some issue. This recent visit was the second time I’ve left my car there overnight for early morning appointments. I don’t leave my car there early to have service done the next day, and still now get my car back after completed services. It seems that when you leave the car there they think they have all day to compete the job, instead of keeping the appt time or near it. Simple work requests like oil changes and recall work. Both times I have not gotten my car back next day because they were busy or had too many recalls. I understand being understaffed the first time, but quit booking so many appoints that exceed your staff. The second time, too many recalls to do so we couldn’t get to your car that day. I make an appointment for a reason. Stop overbooking, and then ask me if it’s ok to keep the car, I have no choice , keep the car. This time around I had a second vehicle to borrow. I used to take my car in and stay, whether with an appoint or going in really early. I have kids and no 24/7 childcare, multiple times waiting literally for hours, one time for just another simple oil change, or inspection. The people are nice enough, but whether going in or dropping off my car it’s usually some sort of issue on there end or always some massive delay. If it’s a management issue fix, understaffing, fix it. I’m patient, my kids are good and surprisingly, handle long waits fairly well. But I’ve done it so many times now with this dealership it’s getting annoying. Trying the convenient of waiting and having appts or dropping the car off early does me no good. I’m afraid of what would happen if my car actually needed real repairs. Am I gonna be waiting months for a simple repair, convenience doesn’t exist here anymore. I’m lucky enough one visit, where they messed an oil change and I was leaking oil all the way to the store, that when I dropped off the car and had to leave it again for a second time, one of the management people and her husband offered to give me and my kids and ride home and a ride back to the dealership to pick up the car because they lived in the same neighborhood as me. No borrower car this visit Mac but that has happened too. I’m too loyal for convenience to this dealership. Really considering going to a regular automechanic and skipping the car he deals and warranties of buying cars here. I make an appointment for a reason. I shouldn’t have to tell you when I need the car back, or have your employees give me some dumb excuse about me not telling them when I need the car back. I made a 730 appoint. Get the job done in a timely manner, call me when it’s done and the car will be picked up. Stop making appts if you can’t keep up with the work. More
