Painlesss and easy to work with. I was looking for a particular VW that I found online; called them and confirmed details, then went to test drive and bought it. They have a no-haggle price policy, which makes things easy -- no games where they say "well, let me talk to my manager" and then engage in all sorts of xx. But on top of that, I appreciated that there was never any pressure applied -- either to by the car, or to do any pricey dealer-sold add-ons that I've had pushed on me in the past. Rob was very straightforward and helpful. More
It is the first dealer that I visited and I end up purchased the car that I selected! I did see this car on the website. The price is really good and I like it from the pictures. Before I went to the purchased the car that I selected! I did see this car on the website. The price is really good and I like it from the pictures. Before I went to the dealer, I have some concerns about the quality of the car. But my concerns are proven to be very unnecessary after I saw the car. As someone who has little knowledge about the car, I give them a lot of questions. Rob is very nice and patient. He answers all my questions very patiently and gives me a lot of suggestions. He is really a nice guy! They are all very professional. I would recommend this dealer to my friend. More
This was the best and easiest car buying experience. The first time we visited the dealership, we were amazed by the fact that the salesmen were not pushy and did not try to convince us to buy a car that da first time we visited the dealership, we were amazed by the fact that the salesmen were not pushy and did not try to convince us to buy a car that day. We were genuinely impressed. I went online to do more research and talked to others who had purchased from Bill Britt. Everything I read and every review I received were completely positive. When we returned to the dealership two days later (over a holiday weekend) the salesman we spoke with before (Don) remembered us and the exact car we were interested in. They gave me a fair price for both the new car and my trade-in (completely hassle-free). They were also very thorough about going over all the paperwork and owner's manuals. I am a North Carolina resident who just happened to be visiting my brother when I chose to purchase a new car. I would seriously consider driving back to Fredericksburg to purchase from Bill Britt Motors in the future. More
I was trying to negotiate a fair price with 2 different dealerships around Washington DC area. After 2 days of back and forth, I finally stumbled on a listing at Bill Britt's. Their advertized price was dealerships around Washington DC area. After 2 days of back and forth, I finally stumbled on a listing at Bill Britt's. Their advertized price was lower than the one I worked out after negotiating with other dealers for 2 days. Made a call, confirmed the price, and was on the way to buy. There were no surprises when I got there. Mike Danaher, the sales rep, made the transaction quick and easy with no BS included, only friendly service. Save your time and money ang go straight to Bill Brit's if looking for a Mazda. Thank you Bill Britt's and Mike! More
We purchased a 2014 Mazda 6 on March 20th (see previous review). My wife was currently driving a 2004 Mazda 3, which she dearly loved, but needed a larger and more versatile vehicle to haul grandchildren review). My wife was currently driving a 2004 Mazda 3, which she dearly loved, but needed a larger and more versatile vehicle to haul grandchildren around. She test-drove a CX-5 and loved it. The problem was that the dealer did not have the trim level and color that she wanted. Kirk immediately searched the internet and found one vehicle in the state of Virginia that fit her requirements. It was in Blacksburg and he said that, if she wanted it, they could possibly have it here the next day. She said that she wanted it and, sure enough, it arrived the next afternoon. Since the arrival day was a Saturday and with the dealership being closed on Sundays, the car was cleaned and prepped Monday morning and we picked it up that afternoon. Not counting the test drive, I think it took about one hour to complete the entire process which included trade-in, financing and new vehicle delivery. My wife was a little sad to give up her little red Mazda 3 which had served her so well but she is now very much in love with the new CX-5. It is a beautiful automobile. While there, we bought a cargo tray for the CX-5 from H.B. and Robbie in the parts department and scheduled a service appointment with Lisa to have fog lights installed on my new Mazda 6. When I took the car in for the install, Lori already had the paperwork done and she had me in a loaner car and out the door in about 10 minutes. My car was ready the next day when promised and the work was done correctly. I can't imagine buying TWO cars in one week from any other dealer. It usually takes me couple of weeks to recover from the traditional car buying process with all of the deception, pressure and negotiating that often comes with it. This past week has actually been fun and I think I am going to miss Kirk and all the folks there next week since I have no need to buy a third automobile. Oh well, all good things must eventually come to an end. Thanks again to all the wonderful folks at Bill Britt Mazda. We are extremely happy with our new Mazdas. Friendly no rush attitude by John Bott, the salesman. He answered all our questions and asked us a few to help clarify our needs as to the type vehicle would be best for us. Rich was attentive and knowledgeable. Clearly this is a well-trained salesman who believes in and endorses the product. I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Rich - and have recommended him well-trained salesman who believes in and endorses the product. First of all, I would like to start by saying that my car buying experience at Bill Britt Volkwagen was amazing. I was not a first time car buyer; so, typically this is a process I dread because of all of th buying experience at Bill Britt Volkwagen was amazing. I was not a first time car buyer; so, typically this is a process I dread because of all of the haggling and negotiating to try to get to a payment that best fits your budget. Normally you're walking out with your car 6-8 hours later. But not here, I was pleased to be assisted by Rich Tippey. He was very professional and got straight to the point. He was very knowledgable about the vehicle and did not use pressure to try to sell it. He gave me the best possible price up front and it was in line with the "numbers" I had worked the night before. So, I knew I was dealing with an honest gentleman; I later found out that he wasn't working on commission. That explains why the payment sounded fair; since he was a salary-based employee he didn't have to pad the price to get his cut. I was in and out of the dealership in about 2 hours and that's absolutely exceptional. If more dealership had salary-based salesman, I think customer service and customer satisfaction ratings would be through the roof. Bill Britt Volkswagen has the recipe for success; they don't have to change the core of how they operate. If they want to improve, the can add the normal things that have to be enhance with business in the future. But, they are on target and ahead of most dealerships now. I am a completely happy customer. More
