I can't thank John and the crew enough for their superior customer service. The same applies to Pam and the service team. They always make me feel welcome and are always so accommodating. I highly recommend everyone start here for their fix of VW hardware before you entertain other dealers up north. More

My salesperson, Rich Tippey, was almost entirely responsible for my satisfaction. I spoke to him in August when I first began tossing around the idea of purchasing a new car, but told him I would not be making a purchase until around December. Out of all the dealerships I visited that day, Rich was the only salesperson I spoke to who respected the fact that I simply shopping and wouldn't be buying. He didn't try, like all of the others did, to talk me into buying that day. When I called Rich a few days ago to talk about buying the car, he made it extremely simple. I told him what my budget was, what I wanted in a vehicle, and what I wanted my payments to be. I then went to visit him at the dealership. RIch quickly explained all of my options and in less than an hour, I was signing the paperwork on a car I loved, with exactly the payments I was looking for. I then met Emily Schuyler, who walked me through the paperwork, explained everything thoroughly, and pleasantly answered all of my questions. I would, without hesitation, recommend purchasing a vehicle from Rich at Rosner. He placed no pressure on me to buy anything more than I wanted and needed, a rare quality in a salesperson. More

We began searching but was having a difficult time finding the "perfect" car for her. That is when we met John, he was able to take her hopes and dreams and make them a reality. It took John less than 10 minutes to locate her "perfect" car and start the process of getting it to the dealership. One day later, her "perfect" car was hers and she hasn't stopped smiling. The whole process was completely painless and was completed in record time. The dealership is a warm and welcoming place where you instantly feel at home and the employees treat you as if you are part of their family. This has been the best buying experience that we have ever had and it is all because of John Batt, Emily Schuyler, and Jesse Konstanty. John was our salesman and he was able to locate the exact car that my wife wanted and then explain everything there is to know about it to her. Emily worked out the finacing and explained all of the warranty options in a way that was easy to understand. Jesse's main goal was our satisfaction and he did everything in his power to ensure that we were happy and got exactly what we wanted. Which we did! All three of them were great to work with and actually care about you and what you want. Unlike most car dealers, the staff actually listen to you and do their very best to satisfy your requests. If you live in Virginia and you are looking for a VW, don't even bother going to another dealership because you will not find a better one than Rosner VW. More
Came In For Service on 2nd VW - Bought 3rd While There! I came in originally to have my 2004 Phaeton worked on - needed a headlight bulb replaced. The service writer - a man I've not dealt with before - kn I came in originally to have my 2004 Phaeton worked on - needed a headlight bulb replaced. The service writer - a man I've not dealt with before - knew who I was when I arrived because Ms Pam Sanders (who I normally work with) had told him to watch for me. I live in Laurel, MD and drive about 100 miles (past at least 4 other VW dealerships in MD and VA) to get here. They're the only people I trust to work on my Phaeton; I had a VW dealer in another state tell me that he had no mechanics up to date on the Phaeton because the dealer had never even sold one! The work was done as I wanted it - including some extra checking because of the way the bulb acted before failing. I was kept apprised of my car's status and it was done on time. At the same time I was there, the dealership was having its "grand opening" under the Rosner Automotive Group ownership. (It had been the Bill Britt VW dealership when I bought my first VW here in 2001.) I decided to look around at the selection of 2014 Jetta Sportswagen TDi's and the 2015 Golf TDi's, as I wanted to stop putting 100 miles a day on my Phaeton from commuting to/from work. I sought out and worked with Mr John Batt, who sold me my Phaeton in 2007 and was working there in 2001 when I bought my 2001 Golf TDi. We looked at the Jettas and the great promotional financing for the 2014s, but I was leaning towards the Golf because I wanted the smaller car. The Jetta wagon's about as long, but a little narrower, than my Phaeton and public parking spaces seem to be shrinking in size. John was patient with me and allowed me plenty of time to look around, think, and sit in the vehicles. I test drove a Jetta but I didn't need to test drive the Golf to know I'd love it. I ended up buying a 2015 Golf TDi SE while I was there! Although VW wasn't offering a promotional financing rate on a Golf TDi purchase, Ms Emily (Finance) and Mr Jessie (Sales Manager) listened to John's explanation of my loyalty to the dealership since 2001 and they got me the financing arrangements I wanted. John and the staff worked hard to get the Golf ready for me to drive home that day, even though I was willing to come back and get it the next day. I did drive it home and came back to retrieve the Phaeton. All the staff I dealt with at the dealership was friendly, efficient, eager to help, and pleasant. During the grand opening event, I met several other people who've bought multiple VWs from this dealership and all of them had rave reviews for the staff here and the service they've received over the years. I've spent enough time in the dealership over the years while getting my cars serviced that I've seen them deal professionally with frustrated customers. The staff has always done their best to resolve the issues, even when it was obvious the customer was simply arguing to try and get away with as much free work/parts as they could. I watched a couple one time argue that, since the invoice didn't list every single step of their 5K service on the invoice, they couldn't tell that it had been done. I've seen customers tell the service writers that they haven't followed the preventive maintenance schedule and then argue that they shouldn't have had so many parts fail at the same time. I saw one out-of-state customer have his car towed in and because special parts had to be ordered for it, he wanted the dealership to pick up his hotel bill! (He was another customer who failed to get the preventive maintenance done to his car on schedule.) I passed my 2001 Golf to my younger brother in 2007 with almost 300K miles on it, when I bought my Phaeton (used car). I had 130K of those miles on it in the first 2 years, commuting 1,000 miles/week for work. As I bought my 2015 Golf, my Phaeton has almost 158K miles on it (it had under 21K on it when I bought it). Those mileages haven't always been trouble-free, but I'd never have achieved them without the outstanding service I've received at this dealership since 2001. I do follow the preventive maintenance schedule as well, but I feel the service staff here works very heard each and every time I visit to keep my loyalty - again, I drive 100 miles to get here for my service and pass by other VW dealerships. I intend to keep doing so as well - they're like family to me, in my opinion! As for the negative reviews (I see a portion of one while writing my review), it's certainly easy to write something negative when you only come in once and don't give the staff a chance to resolve any issues fairly (which doesn't mean you get everything free just because you raise your voice). I've been a loyal customer for over 13 years - I can take my business anywhere I want - and I choose to bring it here. Any VW dealer can work on any VW - an honest dealer is where I choose to go, and this dealership is where I go. More

They were hesitant about with nearly every question I asked. When I questioned their pricing and their extended warranty service, I was met with rage. And when I tried to negotiate, they told me the car was sold. Was it? No, not sold but advertised for $3,000 more the following day. THREE THOUSAND MORE and it was overpriced to begin with.
